Troy Expressions Music Academy

My son is taking piano lesson since two months ago. We want to let you know, his teacher, Alex, did a very good job in teaching the skill and raising my son's interest at same time. My son is only 8 years old, he doesn't know to keep piano as a casual hobby still needs a lot of practice and effort. I don't want him to feel any pressure yet, just to have fun at this stage is more important than anything else. The way Alex teaches him makes my son feel relaxed and enjoyable. He practice at home without being pushed much. His skill has obviously leveled up even in such short period. We want to keep Alex as my son's teacher as long as we can. Thanks to Expressions Music Academy, your teachers are great!

So far so good. I called a few other places and they stood out to me. Unlike the rest of the places I called they actually answered there phones. And returned calls right away. They answered all my questions. The gentlemen I spoke to was very knowlegable. Friendly staff. They gave me and my child a tour. They made my child feel very welcomed. And apart of the enrollment process. Which was nice. They give your child a binder a book to work at things at home and a reusable bag to carry it all in. They offer lots of opportunities for your child to join in on recitals. We have yet to participate. They also have excellent alerts via email & text, when classes are canceled due to weather etc. My child enjoys going. It is pricey tho. They offer summer camp as well. It's definitely something I will look into further when it gets closer to summer.

hi Jessica my name is Michael k.  I'm one of the students in your Academy for the past few months I've been studying there I go once a week every Saturday back home I studied music for two years and I majored in violin I didn't touch a violin for 7 years and then I came to your Academy I wanted to learn specific song book that I have and I was assigned to work with one of your instructors her name is Jessica k I told her from the get-go I don't want to be a Beethoven but I want to learn these songs because they mean a lot to me she agreed to teach me the songs and she went even further buy Tailoring away that fits me as a student and make me progress to a level that is almost at the peak of playing the song that I love she worked with me patiently explain things had a smile on her face every time I made a mistake or did not play the note right which gave me confidence that she wants to work with me and she wants to see me play the songs that I love I'm writing to you to tell you that the Jessica K has been a great help for me as a student and I'm so happy with her work and same thing with your staff the moment I walk in everybody has a smile on their face they have the right attitude until the moment I leave they still have that smile and so on every time in the academy thank you so much for having such a great place to learn music and again I wanted to thank you specially for my teacher Jessica k Michael k.

My son loves EMA Troy and it is one part of his life. Ms. Debbie is a great teacher for my son and he is developing the skill & love for Piano music. Very friendly, understanding & encouraging are the classes and provide feedback after every session. The front desk staff (especially Caitlin and Alex) are great to accommodate our lesson needs. Great waiting area with needed refreshments :) Love the place !!!

Our oldest son (now 8) began taking piano lessons at Expressions Music Academy about 1 1/2 years ago & our youngest son (5) just recently began piano lessons. They have different teachers (because I wanted their lessons to be at the same time). Both teachers (Michelle & Nicole) are amazing and the staff is wonderful! The atmosphere is very motivating. Our oldest son has participated in 2 recitals & is getting the experience of performing in front of an audience. They also have a kid friendly waiting room which is especially helpful as we have 2 additional children who come with me and wait for their siblings to finish their lessons. Love it here!❤️🎼🎹🎶❤️
