Stopped in during Louisville Pride to grab drinks. The prices were exceptional, the staff were incredibly friendly and the atmosphere was cheerful and fun.
Its a cool bar to hang out from 9 to midnight. Usually go there on Friday and Saturday only. Other days you will have to read others post. Great drinks for the price and a easy walk to connections later. Free parking. From 9 to 12 the crowd is young to well aged individuals. Low lighting is cool. I like the back deck too. People are fun here.
I loved the vibe there. I loved the 'tenders to. They were sweet. But the bouncer asked me to show my genitals in the pool room with at least 5 people in there. A drunk estimate, but there were many people. It was dehumanizing to be asked that. I love the people that came in. But. As my first time here, that was, really.. great until that. Who else would pull out their dick in front of people you aint interested in? He just straight up asked for some public indecency.
Moderate atmosphere and prices. Quaint neighborhood bar with dance floor, darts and pool tables. Enclosed outdoor smoking area. Does take a while for drink orders especially during peak hours.
Tryangles is a quirky little joint: half billard saloon, half dance club. It's one of the staple gay bars here in Louisville, and I always enjoy supporting local businesses that help our city grow a bit more progressive. The bar tenders are friends and generous with their pours, and the prices are more than reasonable especially if you have a larger group and order a pitcher. Great place.
I love this place...and all you “Naysayers” who claim this is a dump are wrong. Sometimes one wants Filet Mignon and at times one wants a burger...do you think the same restaurant would serve both? This bar has atmosphere, encourages communication a lost art for the young, and connections. This is a dark and laid back kinda bar reminds me of Murphy's in which people and human connections are made. A place where one can go...like a neighborhood bar of old..and vent all of life's frustrations....and after “therapy” have some fun. I now live 20 + years in San Francisco, CA - so I know a bit about gay bars... One must think about the restaurant analogy I used earlier and choose what one wants... a quiet place to connect or a bar full of distractions where one is just.... Bottom line: I love this bar, patronize it when home, and encourage people to appreciate it for what it is: a neighborhood bar!
The bartender made me feel super safe. He kept a man from approaching on me that I wasn't comfortable with. I will come here way more just for the attentive bar tendern
Fun replace tubing Otis the bartender was extremely amazing there was a different kind of crowd they make you feel like you're part of the family it is definitely a place to hang out to have fun sit back and be yourself
Watch the bartenders, left my card behind and was charged twice. Had to file a dispute, bit of a hassle and not cool. Hadn't been in a long time and found the staff to be impersonal.
I was quite tipsy when I was there for Pride, but I always had a drink, great conversation and the music was lively and that's all a gal needed!
