Great place to walk. Was about to take 3 year old and nice easy and beautiful hikes! Plus some longer harder ones for people looking for more.
Wonderful state park! Only complaint is they need a bit more parking to handle the weekend crowds. We did the 3 bridges trails and it was moderate but tons of fun. Love how close this is to Portland
It is beautiful. The part we hiked started easy but ended with an incline. Lots of joggers, families and dogs taking their morning walk.
I enjoy how close this park is to the city because it doesn't feel close when you're there. However, this park doesn't rank very high in my standings for beautiful park. It is nice and it has its moments but there are more beautiful parks nearby. That's just my opinion and beauty is subjective. I'll still come back because it does have a nice amount of trails and things to see.
If your looking for Kevin Love for an autograph in Lake Oswego and can’t find him no big deal. Check out Tyron Creek State Natural Area for a day of hiking.
My dog loves it here. Great day to be out. This beautiful area only 10 minutes out from downtown. Awesome!
Truly beautiful nature oasis very close to the city. Wonderful for pup walks and nature Scavenger hunts.
This is a very quiet & serene nature park equipped with a visitor center, decent parking & adequate trail map that is nestled between two upscale housing tracts. In no way is it the middle of nowhere. Trails are clearly labeled and allow for combinations of pedestrians, cyclists and equestrians dogs must be leashed, no smoking anywhere on the trails. The trails themselves are not challenging for an experienced hiker, being generally short 2 miles max flat and well maintained. Elevation gain is nominal, but some stretches seem ideal for 5k and 10k training given the nature of their loop distances. Nearly everyone we passed was friendly and cheerful, which is regrettably rare these days. Perhaps that is another part of Portland's charm.
Always liked this little green oasis, the walking paths, picturesque streams and bridges. Can get very busy on nice weekends, and tends to be muddy during the rainy season. There are many trails that allow multiple options for walks of various lengths.
Multi-purpose trails through beautiful moss-covered woods, with ferns galore, wild mushrooms, babbling creeks and birds singing high overhead. Go for a walk/run and enjoy the greenery!
