I called to see if I needed a reservation. She said “oh God” and hung up on me. When I got there I waited almost an hour for a table. Was it worth it. Yes. In a warm and cheery setting we had great service. The menu items were a wonderful spin on traditional breakfast with enough tradition in there if you just want to eat breakfast. The smoothies were fantastic. I would try them all over time. I have already planned my order for my next visit Some of the best grits in the city are made here!
A nice place to have breakfast/brunch in New Orleans! The food was great and the atmosphere was really nice! The only reason why I am giving 4 stars instead of 5 is because our waitress wasn’t friendly! Hopefully the rest of the stuff is nicer!
For the line and the hype I expected a lot more. My husband's smoothie was chunky, definitely time for new blades or a new blender, or at least a bigger straw. My husband's Omlete was good but nothing special. My chicken sandwich on the other hand had a delicious sauce with one of the driest pieces of chicken I've had in a LONG time. Overall it's very OK, definitely won't be revisiting.
Tried Two chicks for the first time today and it was highly amazing. I got the bbq shrimp and grits, it was so good. The perfect amount of spices.. I do wish it had a little less sauce but it was delightful. The bacon and eggs were really good. The papas French toast was beautiful and very yummy. The pancake order was 3 huge pancakes, so fluffy and filling. We ordered $70 worth of food not everything listed and everything was so hot, filling and fresh. Definitely worth a visit!!!
Very busy place but great portions with fresh juice. I ordered the farmhouse omelet and it was huge and flavourful! The orange juice was good. The chia pudding was ok...nothing too special.
Small cafe inside another building. Got a table right away on a Friday for brunch, but can see that they probably can get busy. Staff was pleasant and quick to help. I really liked the Breakfast Po-boy with andouille sausage, grilled onions and peppers, eggs and cheese. Definitely a good choice and if we stayed close by again we would visit them again.
Fantastic food but the service wasn’t great. Not bad just seems like the staff doesn’t want to be there. A few friendly ones but some not so friendly. However the food is worth it.
When we arrived there was a line down the street. We put our name on the list and waited in line. The line moved quickly and after a 15 minute wait, we had an amazing breakfast! All the portions were large! The service was top notch and the food worth the short wait.
Had to wait but definitely worth it. Enjoyable food and I bought one of their adorable mugs for just $6!! I think the portions were great and the price for 6 of us was less than $120.Dine in: Yes
Great little spot for breakfast or lunch. The Breakfast Poboy is off the chain good, sausage, eggs, grilled onions, and gouda with some magical saucy action. The cucumber and basil lemonade.... why is it so good... it has no right to be that delicious and refreshing. Would definitely happily eat here again. Staff was great too.
