Two Men and a Truck Morningside-Atlanta

There’s a couple things going on… I had previously moved 10 months prior and I needed three men to move my stuff. I requested three men… I know what I have and I know how long it took to move previously. They only sent me two men. It was literally a 10 hours move! Longest move out and move in ever. should’ve only been 2.5- 3 hours each side. My moving bill was More than it should have been because of that. I just moved down the street 0.03 miles. The guys that helped me move were pretty good guys but not prepared at all. They didn’t have any gloves, they didn’t have anything to wipe their faces with from sweating. One guy was sweating all over all my furniture and the floors. They got their dirty hands all over all my furniture, all Over everything . The one guy showed up smelling like he hadn't taken a shower in days , so either he was dirty or his shirt was but I could smell him from across the room. It was really gross, and the smell was very very strong. There was nothing extra on the truck when I needed it. The guys did work very hard, They had to, but there should’ve been another person, and because of that my bill was $$$ The office knew exactly what they were doing. I would never hire them again. My bill should not have been that high and I called them to talk to them about it. They didn’t deduct anything off of my bill. The one guy on the phone, talking to his girlfriend, talking to his probation officer and taking smoke breaks. They really should’ve given me some money back. Anyway, this was not the company that I thought it would be and you’ll never get a dime out of me ever again. Stay away!

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. Out of 18 pieces of furniture they damaged 5. That's a nearly 1/3 of the total. They then offered me pennies on the dollar to reimburse me. I have filed a BBB complaint but do not expect them to do the right thing. Took an extra hour of smoke breaks to add to the time I had to pay. While they did compensate me for 30 minutes of that time $90 dollars out of the total 180 extra, my stuff reeked of cigarettes and I had to wash every linen I own. See pictures for damaged items. BUYER BEWARE.

My experience needs to be reviewed in two parts 1 the scheduling of the move 2 the quality of my movers. My 2 movers, Trayvon and Cedric were awesome. They did a tremendous job and even after a long day they were still working hard, making jokes and having nice conversation. But my issue with two men and a truck is their scheduling. They gave us the afternoon slot where they would come between 12pm and 3pm, which is a very large range to work with on the day of your move but lets leave that aside. the moving team only showed up around 4.20pm which is really late to still start a move and I only found out because I called them at 3.30pm that they would be delayed. The Office team did not provide any solution for that. Note that this is not the fault of the moving team as their previous customer had double as much stuff to move than what they initially asked for. BUT the next customer should not pay the price for that. I would say that this does not meet up with your grandmother rule. At least, I would not treat my grandmother like that.

Excellent customer service, with the movers and the call rep. The movers were extremely courteous, fast, and careful with our items. They went above and beyond when they assisted me with putting a few heavy items in my own vehicle. The movers were good with adjusting the invoice to reflect a lower amount than originally based on my request. They actually go and "weigh" your load to properly adjust the price.

Great! They made sure everything was taken care of and worked very diligently. I had Matthew and Marcus and they were spectacular. Made sure everything was safely moved. Highly recommend those guys again!

I was very pleased with two men and a truck. The driver and his associate were very courteous. They moved my items very carefully and everything was done in a very orderly fashion. I've used them on two moves so far and appreciate all the good work and honesty. One more thing when I called customer service they were very prompt about calling me and letting me know what the status was on my move

Extremely disappointed in my experience with Two Men and One Truck. The movers lost a suitcase and were extremely dismissive about it. Two Men and One Trucks process to resolve this issue was terrible.NegativeQuality

I have used 2Men and a Truck Collier and Piedmont 8 times in the last 5 years, and College Hunks East Atlanta twice. 2Men is far superior. They are better trained on how to properly pack and efficiently move, which means less chance of damage and a lower moving bill. Given my staging and rental business, and having observed the difference in these crews, I can tell you what a huge difference the training makes. In addition, 2Men has better customer service. The time one time I could not find an item which I found later 2Men immediately offered to order a new one and ship it to me. On my second move with College Hunks, they damaged and dirtied numerous items, in addition to moving very slowly, and the Operations Manager offered us $125. Also, College Hunks damage protection is substantially higher - they require you to pay $65 for each room no flexibility. 2Men allows you to declare your own value and charges you $13 per $1,000 declared. They also have an option for a $300 deductible where you pay $4 per $1,000 declared. 2Men will move TVs and bags and anything else no extra hidden charges. College Hunks charges extra to move TVs, mirrors, pictures, and will not move bags. Comparing two virtually identical moves as far as amount moved and distance - 2Men was $706 and College Hunks was $1100. Take it from an experience mover - 2Men beats College Hunks

Couldn't be more pleased with the young men that moved us! Bill gave us an estimate over the phone for our move from storage and an apartment to the new house. We decided to use their in-house storage for a couple of recliners and a bookshelf. Saved us time and hassle when it came to move day. The two man move team had to work around a narrow stairway that made maneuvering awkward but they made it look easy. They wrapped and secured EVERYTHING. I have no heavenly idea how they could've done any better. Simply amazing! They even helped us move a washer that we bought as a surprise house warming gift! Thank you so much Two Men And A Truck!

Our move went extremely well. I must say the group that moved us headed by Deante Glover were outstanding. They were professional and very cautious with our belongings. We have moved many times both locally and cross country and I must say this was the finest group of movers we have ever had. Thank you. .Andreas, Lamar, Dexter and Lariney , great job!
