U-Haul Neighborhood Dealer

When I left the area, I got too small of a truck and had to switch it out. He was understanding and helpful, and I thought everything was good until he noticed some damage on the top corner of the uhaul truck box. Anyone in Watford City would would know there's nothing in town overhead to cause that sort of damage. I had the vehicle for less than 12 hours, and this corner was already repaired with some aluminum tape. Long story short I got charged with the damages as they had no record of that repair. My lease was up and I had to meet up with movers though, so I couldn't really argue it... I took pictures of the damage before I left, luckily I contacted their regional office when I arrived at my destination and explained the situation and sent them the pics. They said immediately that the damage was not my fault and obviously someone at uhaul had repaired it and not logged it for the vehicle. I was not charged for the damages. I had nothing but good experiences with the owner the last couple times I was there so I'm not going to leave a negative review per se. I understand that if he sees damage he needs to report it, but him being like "well I don't have a record of the repair and you signed a contract, too bad so sad" wasn't fun to deal with during a move. If you see any damage on the truck, write it down on the contract and take pictures before you leave.

The owner of this Uhaul business is excellent. Very helpful and knowledgeable about all your storage, moving needs, and the local area. Highly recommend!
