The air is literally so thick it’s unbreathable. The hookahs is one thing but when you let 20 dudes light up blunts in that small room you are experiencing second hand smoke at 1000x a normal rate. My throat and lungs were accosted. Expect to pay $20 per drink as well tho they pour very strong.
My first night at Privilege was after a concert in D.C. and I was in awe. The venue is big and the vibe and décor was unmatched. Regarding service, we were well taken care of at the table. The servers and bottle girls are very sweet and efficient. The music is also a perfect mix of everything so its hard not to enjoy yourself. I will definitely come back as its become my new favorite club.
Privilege DC surprised me. The servers, bartenders, and even the hosts out front are very welcoming. I loved the ambiance here LED lights all through the club. Me and my girls had a time here. Will definitely be back. This club is by far one of the most underrated clubs with some amazing beautiful ladies! If you haven’t checked out privilege DC yet what are you what for!!!!!!!
Each and every time I go it’s always the best experience ever. The bartenders are friendly and amazing. There’s one bartender named Angie that always remembers me and takes great care of me from the moment I arrive until the moment I leave. Definitely because of her she made it my favorite place to go whenever I’m in DC.
Went on a Saturday night wasn’t too bad the music was good outside of the female bartender serving my drinks half full but despite her shady behavior I continued to tip her, and yes everyone else had full cups. Clearly she has an imbalance of love and hate in her heart for people so it was my responsibility to show her that there are good people out there. Management- please consider interpersonal training for your bartenders, stay blessed
When looking for something to do in Washington DC on U Street I would highly recommend going to Privilege. Unlike many bars/clubs on U Street, Privilege stays "packed" and has the best looking girls - esp the ones that work there. ;0 The bartender Angie has served me a few times and always made sure I had the best experience. Unlike many of the other reviews, I haven't experienced any bad customer service and would highly recommend this place if you like the packed club atmosphere.
Overall the drinks were over priced. They gave you more juice than alcohol $52 to be exact!! Then in order for you just to sit down you have to pay!!! My overall experience to DC for the nightlife was definitely not worth the 2 1/2 hours that I drove. Make sure when you do go there you at least got about $6 to $700 in your pocket in order to sit down and drink their alcohol well let me rephrase that there juice!!!
This place is probably of dc best kept secrets. A very nice spot. Bartenders are on point especially Angie. She’s always full of energy. Drinks and customer service has been on point. I highly recommend you go see her there
The employees are very rude and unprofessional. I was told the club open at 10pm via phone. I arrived there at 10:15pm. The bottles girls were out front and they rudely told me that they were not open yet and turned their back while I was asking them what time do they open. I asked them again they sucked their teeth and said “ I don’t know” with a attitude. This isn’t even the worst part I got a drink from ANGIE the bartender btw she was awesome and her customer service was great one of the bottle girls that was being rude before smacked my drink out my hand and kept moving. I asked to speak to the manager to report her but she didn’t even care enough to even speak to me. I feel like they need to replace most of their team including management. No one wants to deal with a whole team of messed up attitudes and unprofessionalism. Besides that ANGIE was great and she made me feel welcomed. She was very fun and inviting. Her energy was A1 and her drinks were very good and strong.
I was visiting from out of town last month and decided to come here with some friends, and if I’m being honest, that’s the last time i ever go back!! When i first got there, the bartender that was handling my drink was cool, but then a different bartender came and started being rude to me after i told her I didn’t need help since someone else was already making my drink. Secondly, the hookahs are way to expensive!!! Maybe it’s just me because I don’t go to too many clubs, but I’ve never heard of a club say you have to have a tab of $150 in order to purchase a hookah. Then, what really topped it off were the bouncers, who, by the way, were arguing with people outside all night and made the whole establishment look very unprofessional. I had went upstairs at one point to make a call because i was waiting on a friend to join us and i wanted to see how far she was. A security lady with a short cut came in and told me i was not allowed to stand near the window/door with my drink, which is very understandable. I politely apologized and told her i was making a quick call and proceeded to move out the way. Next thing you know, she starts yelling at me, LITERALLY!!! She tells me that if i don’t like the rules then i can get out and pay another $25 to get back in……i never even complained about any rules or was being rude for her to act like that. Luckily there was no one around to hear this, but i still felt so embarrassed and belittled that it kinda just ruined my night. After just 30 minutes of being there, my friends and I agreed to leave and go somewhere else. This was such a terrible experience for all of us, not just me, and we all agreed that we’d probably never come back. I’ve advised almost everyone to avoid this place as well because honestly there’s just way too many clubs in DC that you can go to and not have to deal with piss poor attitudes like they have here.
