UConn Recreation

Great gym. It blows my mind that more students do not take advantage of it. Pool, courts and rock wall are all fun things to try.

A quality facility complete with free weights, workout machines, a small stretching area, a climbing wall, an indoor track, racquetball courts and more. The issue is that it is the only facility for exercise for all of the University of Connecticut at Storrs. The stretching area and weights area in particular are much too small, and these areas are almost always packed. There is also no good space for people who want to start working out, but may be intimidated by all of the athletes exercising in the gym.

Great place to make some gains. Be prepared for longer waits during the beginning of both academic semesters though. Things generally calm back down after 2-3 weeks.

Solid gym for UCONN students, faculty and alumni. A little on the old side, but it is being replaced in the near future
