Udi is a fantastic teacher for guitar students of all levels. I had been learning guitar on my own for a year before starting lessons, but I was amazed at how much faster I improved with his help. He gave recommendations for specific songs that would help me practice different skills, but he also encouraged me to bring in songs I wanted to play from any artist/genre. I also appreciated his extensive knowledge of music theory and his advice on buying a guitar. Excellent experience!
I’ve been taking lessons from Udi for approximately 5 months. As someone who has played the guitar but never taken lessons, I needed a teacher who could easily fill the gaps in my knowledge and technique in an organized and thoughtful way. Udi does this in a way that makes every lesson fun, engaging, and incredibly informative! He is a masterful guitarist and composer who can help Amy level of student reach their goals!
I would immediately recommend Udi to anybody looking to learn the guitar. I have been taking lessons with Udi for about a year, and still after each week I continue to see substantial progress. Through patience, passion, and a lifetime of experience, Udi has an excellent instinct for teaching, and I intend to take lessons with him as long as I live here. I would strongly encourage guitarists of all levels to reach out and schedule a lesson.
I have been taking lessons with Udi for over 3 years and not once has he cancelled an appointment or made me wait around past my booked timeslot for someone else to finish. If I schedule a lesson for 2pm next Friday the lesson will begin 2pm next Friday. The lessons are intense and the hour goes by very quickly because learning guitar is difficult and Udi knows what he is talking about. I ask a lot of questions to make sure I get my moneys worth and Udi never becomes impatient or makes snide remarks out of frustration. He is a smart, cool guy who takes his career deadly serious and genuinely wants to see me get better. Udi is a professional guitarist who makes a living performing, recording, and teaching. He is not limited to one genre or style. He knows Rock, Blues, Jazz, ect.. and sophisticated theory that he can teach in a way I understand. I tried learning to play on You Tube and gave up. I need the pressure and interaction from in-person lessons to get better. I am very pleased I took the initiative to spend money learning from a pro.
Honestly Udi is the best guitar teacher ever! Teach me every single detailed thing from scratch. From how to hold a pick, strumming, good positioning, tuning the guitar, how to use a pedal, etc., Strongly recommend Udi to anyone's interested in learning guitar!
When I first started working with Udi in 2019, I had never played a guitar. There were a lot of frustrating moments at first but Udi helps you to push yourself into those uncomfortable moments where you're playing sounds like garbage but whatever you're doing will help you progress to make it sound good. A little less than 2 years later and I am singing and playing full songs! While also learning more techniques to widen my playing scope. Udi didn't just tech me how to play guitar, he gave me a gift.
Best guitar teacher ever!!!!! I feel so lucky to have found Udi. I have wanted to learn guitar pretty much most of my life. Im 27 now and really I had just accepted that there was a good chance of it passing by me. On & off for years I had tried to learn and just could never quite get the hang of it. Then I moved to New York and was lucky enough to take lessons with Udi. I’ve been a student of his for 5 months and I am full on playing the guitar now. I’ll be jamming in my apartment and then all of a sudden think to myself “I can’t belive I’m actually playing the guitar!!” Udi is a fantastic guy. He is smart, patient, very easy going and makes you feel completely at ease. I would recommend him to anyone. Beginner or more experienced. He’s a fountain of knowledge and anybody could learn a lot from him! Thanks for everything, Udi!!
I'd been playing on and off for a few years when I found Udi and he has completely reshaped my desire and motivation to learn and cultivate my guitar playing. He will teach any style and will make sure it is learned with fundamentals first, making sure those building blocks are firm before progressing. He is a true musician and takes pride in perfection of his own music as well as his students. My hour with Udi is one of the most fulfilling of each and every week.
I've been with Udi for ten months. I came for the first lesson without much of a knowledge about guitars, I just played a bit as a teenager. The first lesson we talked about the goals and Udi explained to me his methods and showed me some basic techniques. Right off the bat you can see that he's a seasoned teacher, he's articulate and patient. Ten months after, I can play most of my favorite songs and have learned tons or techniques, like strums, arpeggios, chords and very important theory to help me understand what I'm playing. I highly recommend him as a beginner but I'm sure advanced students would benefit greatly from his lessons as well. Alex
