I love Ulta’s selections and especially their Tree Hut collection and their Sol de Janeiro Brazilian Crush perfume mists! They smell so good and it has since been my go to perfume! Tree Hut collection smells so good too! I love the Moroccan Rose!!
Louisville KY December 2023, St. Matthew Mall, weather is kind of cold and dreary and blah....unfortunately so was the staff. I do not like to post negative reviews but here we are. No greeting when I walked in. No one asked if I needed help with anything. I am at fault for running late to my hair appointment but there was only one person working at the salon and he was tied up doing highlights. Salon phone rang on 3 occasions and no one could answer it. I waited about 20 mins in front of the register then walked around another 10-15mins close to salon area. Never spoke to a single employee. I walked out. Not even a thank you for coming in. I must say, it was certainly a different experience than I usually have at all the other Ultas.
I used to go there a lot pre covid, and it was always an amazing experience. I went yesterday and it was HORRIBLE. Trash all over the floor, dirty floors, what was once a fancy store was like a Walmart.. understocked, dirty, and people rooting thru stuff not being helped. There was about ten people in line and the line was moving super slow . But the make up I wanted was on sale on the website so I decided to wait. Once I got to the register, the cashier had a snooty remark that I probably did not pick the right one I did and charged me full price. When I got back home I double checked and it was on sale, now on hold with customer service for about a half hour. The only reason I went is because I had a gift card I don’t think I will be going back
Asked a young lady to help me. She just kept walking and said she isn’t clocked in. Kids today are horrible at customer service. The customer service in the store was scare. Always is. Finally a nice Older lady helped me. Do better Ulta.
Went today, no greetings or asking if I needed help. Asked a worker for help finding new foundation, I was told no beauty consultants were working today.
Upon entering the store, my spouse and I were not greeted and during our visit we were not acknowledged by any employees on the floor. We visited at around 1 pm on Sunday July 16th and the store was not busy and there weren’t many customers at the time. Upon checking out, the cashier did not ask how my visit was nor was she attentive at all. Truly a shame. Besides the poor customer service, the store was well stocked and clean with items clearly marked with prices and signage.
This is a secret store without a door to the mall. It is a big store and has lots to choose from. Nearly every product has a tester. The employees are knowledgeable too. The only thing I would say it that they need to refill their complimentary cleaning pads. There's the spray only. But they might have been out. The employees are always sweet and they all dress nice. The products are organized and easy to find!
Another reviewer said she felt discriminated against while shopping at this Ulta, and I experienced the same thing. I was browsing multiple aisles looking for a new foundation. As I was walking around the store, an older employee was greeting everyone and asking if they needed help. On multiple occasions, she was in the same aisle as me and another customer, and only asked the white customer if they wanted assistance. I was ignored every time I am a black female. On another occasion, I came back to browse for a lip product, and it seemed as though every aisle I went to, an employee was following close behind me. I felt uncomfortable and racially profiled. The most recent instance, I came to return a product but couldn't find the original packaging and didn't have the physical paper receipt. The product was on my account though, under recent purchases, so they were able to look it up and find it. Since it was past the 60 day mark, I couldn't get a refund but requested an in-store credit. The employee who helped me immediately gave me an attitude and said she didn't want to approve the in-store credit. She acted as if I stole the products and was trying to scam them. I informed her that the receipt was on my account and therefore it was Ulta policy to issue me a credit, and it wasn't up to her. She called the manager up there and he had no issue with giving me the store credit. Thank goodness for him. This is the first time I've ever made a google review about discrimination, and after 3 strikes, I will never return to this Ulta location. They need some serious racial bias training.
Had a great range of products, granted it was sometimes hard to find where something was. Was happy to see some of their things were on sale that made them more reasonably priced
Because their prices are better than Sephora and they carry way cooler brands
