Very good. Went here on a Sunday so it was quite chilled. Fridays are more lively. The eel here is delicious and prepared well. Since these are rare in Manhattan, it's tough to find good eel over rice spots. Worth it if you are a fan or simply curious.
Legitimate unagi executed traditionally. Very similar to what is served in Narita. Unique in NYC and certainly with a niche offering, but worth the trip and price for a short journey to Japan.
Went as a party of 2 on a Sunday evening. Excellent eel over rice and incredible service. We also got the eel bone appetizer which was an extremely crunchy umami-full experience. Lauren was an excellent server!
