I discovered this little place a few weeks ago and so glad I did!!! Been there twice in 2 weeks ! The decor is throwback for anyone that wants to relive the '50s and '60s even further back with some of their antique props and pics thru out the restaurant! Even the bathroom is tastefully decorated with memorabilia! Most importantly the wait staff and food is fabulous and delicious!!! Added Plus its BYOB!!! If you haven't tried this place yet you must!!!
We sat outside and there was plenty of outdoor seating. I had short rib grilled cheese and the chicken and waffles. The chicken and waffles had some nice roasted potatoes on the side. The waffles were nice and fluffy. The chicken was crispy and juicy on the inside. The grilled cheese had some flavorful slow cooked meat on the inside. The cheese pull was plentiful. Other than that there was a tapas option that had quite a few interesting foods. The truffle fries that came with the grilled cheese sat out for too long but we were able to get a fresh batch when we told the waiter, which was friendly and kept checking up on us.
Probably the coolest restaurant environment in Bordentown. The waitress was so kind and attentive! The food was delicious and the serving size was perfect. Exactly what a serving size should be! For dessert I had a warm brownie and a coffee which top the experience and chill vibes. If you are in the Bordentown area, do yourself a favor and stop in!
Such a cute find. The decor is adorable and there are a lot of Gluten-free and vegatarian options as well. Will definitely go back. We didn't care for the Ahi tuna but it was promptly rectified and removed from the bill. Thank you for the great service. Dietary restrictions: Gluten Free Options
as soon as i walked into the restaurant, i fell in love with the vintage 1940’s decor. our waitress was super friendly and approachable. i ordered tomato soup soup of the day which was super creamy and reminded me of a vodka pasta sauce. i also ordered the black angus burger which was delicious. the fries that they served it with were topped with crumbled parmesan which was the perfect finishing touch for the meal. the total wait time for the food couldn’t have been more than 15 minutes — super fast service!
Very unique cool place in Bordentown, open lunch and dinner. Stopped in for lunch, really delicious. We had the whole place to ourselves, which I appreciated, assume since it was a snowy day it kept people home. My friend and I got two appetizers, beef empanadas and a special of burrata on toast with yellow tomatoes. The empanadas were good, but I dont care for olives so was surprised to see them inside. Had I known, I would have opted for something else, but only because I dont care for olives. However, the burrata toast was amazing, and I could have eaten that all day long!! I absolutely loved all the flavors. For our main meal, we both opted for the Cuban sandwich, it was very tasty, we both loved it, and were happy to take half the sandwich home. The desserts were amazing and apparently are known for them, they are all hand made, and a ton of choices. I got the tiramisu, delicious. My friend got the raspberry coffee cake, it was huge and she loved it. Very generous portions. Our server was very sweet and did a great job. Highly recommended!!
My friend and I celebrated Galentine's Day with their special event menu. Everything was delicious and service was very good! Adorable atmosphere. Definitely recommend!Food: 5/5
Me and my sister both had the arugula salad special for lunch. It had plenty of beets and candied pecans. It had an orange vinegaret. The white lump in the middle is burrata cheese. It was a tasty salad, good portion. Service was very good. Nice ambience.
Thoroughly enjoyed the Spanish food. The tapas selection was excellent and so was the service especially from our server, Tina. We will be back. Oh and leave room for dessert. You won’t be disappointed.
Great time! Great atmosphere. excellent food. Very impressed with the risotto. Actually traditionally creamy. Parmigiano reggiano, Rice, & a good chef. No need for cream. Excellent green included with the rice balls arancini & risotto. Appreciate the more authentic approach. Need to try the more Spanish based cuisine. Only thing I couldn't recommend would be the espresso. Vegetarian options: Plenty of options between polenta, risotto, gnocchi & the like for vegetarians. Kid-friendliness: This is a nice, small homie location that will allow for kids to partake. More adult choices on the menu, but certainly a place with space to have children sit at the table. Parking: If you actually know how to parallel park, this should be very easy for you to take care of. There's plenty of open spots along the street for a half a mile proximity. Wheelchair accessibility: The restaurant is a single floor, so it is easy for somebody to make their way in with any sort of handicap assistant items. You can stroll a wheelchair straight through the door to your seating
