Uneed Martial Arts

This dojo is very unique in that the instructors do so much to make it like a second home for their students. The positive energy is infectious; it's hard to not be in love with this place and the community within it. I had almost an hour long conversation with Sifu Joe prior to observing a class because it was important to me to go somewhere that was not "mystical" and did not have a lot of formality like you see in a typical martial arts movie or show. I can confidently say they live up to those expectations: the instructors are all very down-to-earth and don't take themselves too seriously. Moreover, they are super respectful and knowledgeable while also being humorous and approachable. I also love that their martial arts style is geared towards a female's strengths in self-defense, and the techniques they teach are all about street-effective protection for yourself. As a woman, I feel much more confident in my ability to protect myself in situations when I am alone. It is also a very exclusive style of martial arts called Royal System Gung Fu and is the only place in the valley that currently teaches this art form. The instructors all love what they do and teach from their hearts. It's an amazing place for adults and for their kiddos. They also have ranks if you or your kids are interested in sashes/belts see the attached photos. Also, if you are concerned about COVID protocols, all instructors continue to wear masks, and I have personally seen them clean the dojo regularly. I cannot recommend Uneed Martial Arts enough. I have no idea where to start. This place has been heaven sent, the team is sweet, caring and just so good to all the kids. It has helped my son so much with confidence and mental health. They start the classes asking about their day, they do a short meditation and then get into action. The kids are learning and practicing while having fun. There are no words to describe how awesome Sifu Joe, Sandy, Juwyne and Dylan are. They are so animated, make the kids giggle, focus, cheer them and boost the confidence in a way I have never seen, it's admirable. Choosing Uneed Martial Arts has been hands down, the best decision I've made for my son.

Uneed really is a growing family! The knowledge we gain and share certainly will impact your life; it's not all punching and kicking! They teach the science, not the violence! Looking forward to the anti abduction drills each year!

These people are incredibly talented. They work very well with any and all kids as well as adults. I’ve been attending classes for a coup months now and enjoy every one. They are relaxed but also constantly push you to improve.
