I'm only giving them 1 star because I can't give 0 stars. Horrible customer service. Ordered patch work to be done. Patches came out horrible. The letters were not the same size, the spacing was all off and the patches in general did not come out well. When I brought the patches back to them to change or at least get store credit I was told by them that they should not lose out on money to satisfy what I wanted. Blatant disregard for customer care or loyalty. Horrible quality assurance on their products. Worst part is I spent over $100.00 that I will not be able to get back.
This place probably has the best prices for uniform shirts and pants in NYC. Probably more than half what other buff shops are charging with agency patches put on. The lady who helped knew exactly what size I was just by looking at me Which was pretty cool. The shirts and pants fit perfectly and very comfortable. The Tailor there is also pretty fast. 10 shirts and 5 pants in under 15 minutes. It was quick and painless. Unfortunately the parking situation is difficult at this location. But besides that, I highly recommend this place for all your uniform or equipment needs.
Awesome Customer Service - Great fitting Cargo Pants!!
The best police uniform store in the five boroughs, hands down. Knowledgeable and friendly staff, quality merchandise and well stocked. I highly recommend.
I have been coming here for over 18 years, I love this place! The owners are amazing and highly knowledgeable, not to mention amazing tailors. They do great work and provide an amazing atmosphere for Uniformed workers of all kinds. Thank you for being good to us for all these years, keep up the amazing work you do.
I tried on a pair of pants that fit me great and asked for two pairs. They gave me two different styles, and the other one was way too small. I didn't realize until I had to wear them one day for work. They wouldn't even give me a discount or anything on a new pair. Next time I'll definitely be going to the Bronx store. The employees up there are much nicer, anyway.
First time I've felt the need to write a Google review. This place is what happens when you have a captive customer base and sparse competition. I have shopped here in the past for the sake of geographic convenience but after calling up and asking a very quick question and getting such an aggressively rude response, I'd rather drive the extra 20 minutes to Meyer's.
These guys totally rock.. I just left them a special coin rewarded to me in Iraq in 2006. I always go here!!
Bought my dress uniform here as well as cargo pants and long sleeve shirts. The quality of the material for the dress uniform was much better than my coworkers and it was tailored to fit me well, I didn't look like a square with legs like many do with the complete off the rack uniforms. The long sleeve shirts are lined with a nice satin like material in the shoulders and the material is thick, heavy and resists wrinkling well. Their cargo pants were also heavy duty. I also purchased the reefer coat from them and it's a very warm, quality made coat. I'd actually considering buying a pea coat from them in black without all the regulation patches and buttons, it's that warm and nice. Overall, I had nothing but good experiences with them. I'm now in a unit where our uniform appearance is paramount and I won't trust anyone else besides parks for my uniform items. With that being said, there are other places where you can get less expensive stuff, but the quality is reflected in that price. As for the leather gear, etc, they are a re-seller for various companies so the quality isn't on them and many of those things are likely available for less money elsewhere, but when it comes to things that parks makes, they can't be beat.
Friendly and well stocked.
