I'm proud to live in a city where a Union Kitchen exists. Nestled in the heart of Ivy City in NE DC, Union Kitchen is a place for DC food and beverage start ups to use an industrial kitchen and a city wide distribution system to get their product to market. There are 50+ members from businesses making anything from cotton candy to chocolate to ice cream. Union Kitchen has a grocery store near Union Station called Union Kitchen Grocery and it's amazing! From time to time, Union Kitchen opens to the public for fun tasting events. If you can snag a ticket, I highly recommend it!

I was just introduced to Union Kitchen physically this weekend on July 22, 2016. i had often heard of it. I thought it was amazing. PEOPLE were everywhere doing what makes them happy. Working up ideas, cleaning etc. i am glad to be involved in an organization that is so community.
