Not a real post office. Hidden little desk deep in a large office building. I walked like a mile there to use the QR code/ label print system that all POs have now. The lady just said Nope...
The staff at this location is always very helping and efficient. This location is a lot smaller than your ordinary post office so there is a different feel but I've never had an issue and i know what to expect. The office is cash only but there are atms and banks in the immediate vicinity. Can't speak on other reviews but I would recommend to my friends and family , while also feeling confident that their needs will be met.
Worse location to drop packages and do business. DO NOT DO IT. I will recommend to go to a bigger USPS facility and handle business there.
Super hard to find in a labyrinth of hallways and escalators and other stuff. Had to ask for directions several times. Finally dropped off my package and got lectured for 10 minutes about the label being ever so slightly rounded instead of perfectly flat on a very rounded poly mailer that had a stuffed animal inside.it scanned just fine…Seriously wouldnt shut up about it and i just kept apologizing and nodding politely but every time i tried to back away he raised his voice at me and got meaner and louder for no reason. Repeating himself. Horrible
Cash and check only. Limited supplies. So heads up. People were nice but not worth the trip I just made to it.
This is a USPS branch; it's a small satellite office. They are always very nice and efficient here. I avoid the McDowell location if at all possible because I've encountered the opposite of nice and efficient there. The mail goes from this satellite office ro the main branch... there seems to be some issues there for sure. A birthday card I sent to Rock Hill took over a week. I actually received a purchase from Bali quicker that one I ordered from within Charlotte on the same day. I always leave this small satellite office with a smile though.
The prices at this location are consistently higher than the regular non-contractor post office I normally frequent. The same size and weight package costs me about 25 cents more to mail from here. The service is consistently below average. The only reason I continue to use this location is that it’s conveniently located near my office. I’d definitely recommend a full-service post office over this place.
Useless and decidedly unhelpful location. Don't waste your time driving to this one, they won't help you, nothing's operating properly during hours and the employees are incompetent.
Truly the nicest people you will ever meet. I drop off packages regularly and they arrive at their destination with no trouble.
Good customer service n everything was quick. But I paid for priority mail n the package took a week to arrive. This is like a private place. Never again.
