A fantastic New Thought community!! Amazing people doing amazing work in the Washington DC area!! It's always a joy and an honor when I'm guest minister
I am a baptized and confirmed non practicing Catholic. I usually do not go to church as I find them to be hypocrites and two-faced; but Unity of Washington DC is different. Here you are welcomed with open arms, you are not preached to but with, it is interactive and you are not judged. You are free to worship the Creator in your own way. They do not pass baskets/plates for donations from the congregation during service but blesses whatever contributions would be received; there are boxes at the entrance to the church and you are free to donate money if you so wish. When you leave after the service, you feel very refreshed spiritually. I would recommend you check them out and see for yourself.
Definitely feel the love here. Follows the teaches of Christ. Great message and uplifting music from every genre. When I leave here I am happy and want to help others.
A church that proactively embraces all people, when they say ALL are welcome they mean ALL are welcome and affirmed. Very loving community, Rev. Silvia Sumpter is an amazing being and great teacher of Life Mastery.
