Ive considered a few companies to give me estimates but after listening to Alan and how informative and honest Universal Solar Direct is I decided to cancel my other appointments as they were slow to get back to me anyways. My home advisor, Alan, was very professional, informative, honest and gave me a great value for the investment I made in my solar system. The installation was smooth and they even cleaned up afterwards. I was also impressed with the follow up call from Eugene, the owner. I appreciate these qualities in a company and its employees because it shows they care and invest back into the community. Thanks to everyone at Universal Solar Direct for making this project Ive been working on for years come to fruition. I highly recommend this company!!

Everything was fabulous from start to finish. Huge shout out to our sales man Alan. He came out and did a fantastic job showing and explaining the product. He was very professional and knowledgeable. He gave us a fantastic price. One of the better investments i have made. I would definitely recommend the company and Alan to all my friends and family.

I was fortunate enough to meet the fine people of Universal Solar. Two years earlier a different company installed Solar Panels on my roof. Then a year later, that company went out of business. The Universal Solar people stepped in to help me. Some of the prior solar monitoring devices had gone bad and Universal Solar came up with a plan to replace the older non- working equipment and install a Battery Backup System. Now when the electricity goes off, my new battery will kick in and I'll have electricity in certain rooms of my house. Universal Solar has been a blessing for me, and I would endorse them for all your Solar needs.

BEWARE!!!! We were visited by Jonathan Moebius and at first, he was very friendly and informative. However, as we neared the end of his presentation, he got more and more aggressive and he put extreme pressure on us to sign on the line because apparently he had 5 appointments scheduled for the next morning and the deal he had for us would definitely be off the table if we didn't sign that same night because those people would take it. He pretty much refused to leave until we signed, offering to stand outside or sit in his truck while we discussed whether we wanted to sign or not. So yeah we signed, because at that point we wanted him to leave and for the tense environment to dissipate, but then immediately called him asking to not pull our credit until 3 days after so we could get other quotes. Despite all these wonderful experiences with other salespeople, our experience was anything but wonderful. Our appointment ended 2.5 hours later and all we had were 3 business cards from this guy, no information to hold onto and look at about the panels or the potential cost - nothing. Then this morning, I came across a one star review here on Google about Jonathan and that person's experience was the exact same as ours, causing the company to lose business, except it happened 2 months ago. The company responded apologizing and saying the situation would be dealt with accordingly, but 2 months later this same guy is still pressuring people into buying their panels. We are also not going to give our business, or recommend our friends and family to give their business, to this company and are already talking to 2 other highly rated companies. One of which we are probably going with that has visibly and technically better, more efficient panels at a much better price. Feel free to message me if you'd like to know what company we go with and why. Solar is not a cheap, quick, or easy decision and nobody should ever be pressured in the process. To anyone reading this review, just make sure you consider all options and pray you do not get Mr. Moebius at your doorstep. I would highly recommend even asking for anyone but him, unless you like getting pressured into making decisions. Also, know that their panels are actually very inefficient compared to a few other highly rated solar companies here in Las Vegas and they will cost you much much more because you will need more of them. Oh and after we complained about Jonathan, Eugene called us offering a small discount on the inefficient system quoted to us - obviously we refused it because we want the best bang for our buck. Update 1/18/17: Something interesting just happened. Eugene called me very angrily even though we already spoke to him last night and we thought we ended our contact with this company there when we said we don't care if they give us the panels for half off, we have no desire to work with them. Guess we were mistaken. He rudely asked why I hate Jonathan, what tactics I speak of even though someone else had pretty much the same experience as me, and if I bash people for a living. I don't hate anyone, I didn't like his sales tactics and the way he pressured and guilted us into signing up for their inefficient panels. If you read the review, that is stated multiple times. And no I do not "bash" people for a living, I post my experiences so that other consumers can be aware of what they could be getting themselves into. That is what Yelp and Google Reviews is for - real experiences from real people. I understand it probably hurts that people don't see 5 stars when they come to your Yelp page now, but that is something you as a company are going to have to figure out because one salesperson was just way too aggressive and borderline desperate for a sale. Now I am extra glad that I will not be working with these people!

Without a doubt one of the most terrible sales presentations ever. Jonathon Moebius used sales tactics akin to a used car salesperson. I was clear with him when he entered my home that I was not going to make a decision that day because I had not done my "due diligence" on the company and that I had 2 more proposals to consider that I hadn't heard yet. After 2.5 hours of his beating us with, "wouldn't that be worth more to you", and "the offer on the table will be removed if you don't make the decision before I leave today" - I told him to pack up and get out. It cost the company my business. I have selected another company and I'm happy I did. Update 10/22/2017: The owner called me to apologize for Mr. Moebius' behavior and was genuinely concerned about it and would take disciplinary action. I told her I was sorry they lost my business because of the salesperson.
