University of Florida - IFAS Agriculture Research - SWFREC

The IFAS Agricultural Research Center often gives seminars and agricultural presentations to the ag industry and general public. About once a year a tour of the buildings, test citrus groves and farming activities is given for the public. The public can also call upon IFAS for agriculture related advice and printed material at any time.

SWFREC is the Florida Land Grant agricultural research and education center serving the Southwest Florida agriculture industry. The center is populated by an incredibly dedicated scientific research faculty and staff supporting citrus, produce, range land, and sugarcane production over the 5 counties in SW Florida's Gulf Region.
