University of Michigan Museum of Art

Interesting and varied museum located right on the University of Michigan campus. There are rooms featuring many different styles of art and works from around the world. If you are a student, admission is free so this museum is a nice place to go between classes or during lunch. There are also lectures and movie screenings in the basement. There is close street parking on State Street, including a few handicapped places.

I went to this museum as part of a field trip through the Language Club at my school. The museum is very nice and features a variety of interesting art. A few of the exhibits rotate, so you aren't guaranteed to see the same thing every time you go, which is a nice touch. By looking through all of the exhibits, it takes a couple hours to get through the whole building. The items sold at the gift shop are priced reasonably and of good quality. All in all I would highly recommend this museum, and will be visiting again soon!

Amazing venue for hosting an evening cocktail party or conference reception. Such a great space. Would highly recommend it.

I was impressed that a little known museum has so much to offer. (However, I was there with an emeritus who made it come to life).

This art museum is free to the public and has lots of pieces to appreciate. A open layout and many types and genre of art to enjoy. This place is handicap accessible. I would recommend this place and visit it again.
