I loved hiking here! The only issue is that the trails connect to the larger Greenbelt trail and it wasn't that clear about staying on the trail. Otherwise, I loved hiking here!

Visited on a weekend morning, fantastic trip with two toddlers. There are trails and meadows , simply a magical place , so much beauty , it’s tranquil.
Be prepared for various types of terrain and hills and you’ll be fine. I loved the variety of options and the somewhat varied scenery!
We had a quiet walk in the fresh air, with spring just starting to appear. We saw only a few people on a Saturday afternoon. With no leaves on the trees, we could see more of the neighboring mansions than I really wanted.
I come here all the time. Plenty of different environments to explore. Trails around the fields, where you can bird and butterfly watch as well as see lots of woodchucks! There’s trails through the woods, and more trails toward the west that connect with the green belt trail.
Such natural beauty! Great hiking trails, both around the grassy fields and in the woods at the perimeter. Some trails connect with Nassau-Suffolk Greenbelt. Nice variety of birds and other animals woodchucks are a common sight. Watch out for ticks!
Such a beautiful place to walk the trails and enjoy nature at it's finest. There are so many things to enjoy. Plant life, birds, butterflies and all wildlife in general. A hidden gem because everytime I visit I rarely see others.
