One of the best schools I've ever had the opportunity of attending. Is well rounded with there being a place for everyone, like band nerds, jocks etc. I'm currently on one of the finical assistance programs, and for a school I thought would be full of spoiled kids, (which there are, but not as many as you're probably lead to believe) it has some very kind respectful faculty and students. Food is mediocre at best, but overall is an amazing school.

Upper Canada College is one of the best schools I have ever attended in my life. Through all of my years at the college I feel as if it is in the school's best interests for you to succeed. There are many different co-curricular activities and I found that ultimately it is up to the student to succeed but UCC makes that success as easy as possible to attain. I also found that the only aspect relatively inferior to other private schools would be the food due to the fact that it is occasionally distasteful.

UCC has one of the most generous financial assistance programs among independent schools in Canada, offering over $5 million annually. Graduates of UCC — an International Baccalaureate World School with one of the broadest programs in the country — are highly regarded by top universities and post-secondary institutions worldwide. Very good school with great staff and facilities. It is not a rich kid school as most people are down to earth and humble even with all they have. The teachers are great and there are many interesting subjects.

The teachers are very nice and helpful, they give you a lot of feedback and assistance. The new MYP (middle years program) is wonderful and there is this new subject called Design where in G.7 you get to design a personal logo and another on using Arduino. The sports teams are great, and there are lots of times when there are two teams for each sport and a team that will accept anyone as long as you are engaged and work hard. The people are really friendly, and you will definitely make friends. Also, the '05 Hockey team is great :). Finally, to close this off, NO, UCC IS NOT A RICH KID SCHOOL, THERE IS SOMETHING CALLED FINANCIAL AID AND A LOT OF PEOPLE USE IT...
