Early this year I sought chiropractor health care from Dr Anthony Montoya. I came into his office with a C1 subluxation and loss of the cervical curve caused by a sports injury 15 years ago. As a result I was experiencing all sorts of health issues. Dr Montoya immediately and effectively identified the injured neck areas. From the time Dr Montoya began to apply the necessary adjustments on my neck my quality of sleep has greatly improved, my energy levels have spiked and maintained elevated. Finally, among other improvements my blood pressure has also noticeably stabilized I suffer from orthostatic hypotension. I am exceedingly grateful to Dr Montoya and his staff which by the way is always super friendly : for providing the professional chiropractor health care that is making a real difference in my daily quality of life. I will highly recommend his work to friends and family.

I hurt my self carrying a heavy pail and thru out my back. I could barely walk with a walker the next day. I was afraid. I got in to see Dr Tony and within a few days I was feeling much better. Update: before the care of upper cervical migraines were taking over my life. I had the kind of migraines that feels like to pans being smashed against your head with amongst other things as well. I used to have to go the the line of migraine remedies with a small chance of them working. I usually just had to wait it out my migraines with the wait out time being as short as 12 hours and as long as 16. I went to my primary and was given medicine that worked for 3 days than stopped. Went to another chiropractor which was great for the rest of my back but could never remedy my migraine pain. This is the only chiropractic office who has and is healing my migraine pain. I’m going on two years soon I believe as a patient and haven’t received a migraine since being established as a patient and the start of my treatment. I’m working on healing and revising my neck and spin to being pain free. Takes a long time to develop the pain and it will take time for the revival, but to be giving my life back being free from migraines is amazing. Consistency is key here. No more migraines for me and no medication for migraines from my primary. Just consistency with my appointments and following neck and spin health recommended by the office. The investment is worth it for the freedom I am seeing and as well receiving. Great chiropractor and office environment.

After seeing several doctors for my ear ringing with no solution, I found Dr Tony at upper cervical chiropractic. Dr. Tony and Candice are both compassionate and truly care about their patients. After reviewing the X-rays, I was relieved that this issue could be resolved through a natural route rather than the use of prescriptions drugs that would cause other side effects. While this wasn’t an overnight recovery, persistence paid off and after a few months my ear ringing is nearly gone! Grateful I found this place and will recommend to my family and friends.

I started going to Dr. Tony over 3 years ago. He’s helped me with my migraines, my neck and back pain, along with my shoulder pain! I recently injured myself to a point where I couldn’t even get out of bed without crying in pain because of my neck. Dr. Anthony Montoya is a Phoenix Chiropractor at Upper Cervical Chiropractic of Arizona, offering 3-d x-ray views of the spine not attainable in regular films, MRI or CT studies and which provide critical information on spinal alignment to determine misalignment present in the spine. From this, a “customized” adjustment is designed based on your own unique anatomy and different adjustment options.

I had been dealing with upper back pain, numbness in my fingers, arms falling asleep and headaches. A brother in the church I attend told me about his chiropractor. How he helped him with his vertigo. He said that he took some special X-rays and then accessed them. This brother said other chiropractors were unable to help him. I saw the improvement he was having. I thought what do I have to lose? I made an appointment. Arrived to find a very clean and modern looking office. Candice the receptionist is very nice. She introduced me to Dr. Montoya. He listened to my issues and then proceeded to tell me how upper cervical chiropractic works and it made sense to me. Explained the costs of the X-ray and consultation. I agreed and took the X-ray. I really wanted him to give me an adjustment that first day like all the other chiropractors I had seen because I was in a lot of pain but he would not. I came back two days later to see X-ray and learned what my problem was. I was a little shocked at the cost but felt like this was really going to improve my way of life. I have been receiving treatment three days a week for two months and have not felt this good in years. The technique that Dr. Montoya uses is very different from any other chiropractor I’ve had. Headaches are gone, numbness in fingers has improved, arms no longer fall asleep and the knot of pain in my upper back is gone. I’ve noticed that my range of motion in my neck is better also. I am very happy with the results and look forward to seeing the new X-ray at the end of my treatment plan.

I have had quite a few injuries to my neck, collar bones and shoulders Multiple surgeries on my shoulders, including nerve damage/ repair and Upper Cervical adjustment works for me Blair Technique. I have not and will not ever go to a chiropractor I don't trust. My issues are too severe and I fear an incorrect adjustment. I trust Dr Montoya. He has a great adjustment technique. I spent about 700 over a span of a week x-ray, about 5 treatments. The “adjustments” were a quick pressure on my neck that did nothing, and in 30 seconds I went off the office with a $90 bill. Looks like there’s good reviews and if I kept getting maybe it would have made a difference, but wasn’t going to break my savings to find out. I found a different upper chiro I am very happy with now. Others may have experienced differently, just sharing my honest experience.
