This is one of our favorite stops in NW Portland. We are happy with just cheese and chocolate and a quick stop at Trader Joe’s next door after dinner. Our favorites: Bre & Gorgonzola cheese with a few sides and tiramisu fondue for desert. Be sure to make a reservation as this swanky fondue restaurant has limited seating! We really enjoyed the staff on this visit, thank you for adding to the experience.
This is the perfect restaurant for that special occasion. The food is unique and it is fun to cook your own meats and veggies in the simmering broths. We tried 2 different fondue flavors and both were scrumptious. Server was very happy and gave us plenty of attention even on a busy Sunday night. I definitely recommend reservations and dining here. Parking: Street parking
I loved the whole experience. This place is more than just food, I like the idea of dipping, and the cooking, and trying dipping sauces... The whole thing is very fun and engaging. The dipping sauces were fantastic, the cheese was great, and the butterscotch chocolate dessert was really good.Dine in: YesOutdoor seating: No
Didn't have a reservation but the hostess was so nice and let us have a table. Delicious cheese fondue and great service. We'll definitely be making a reservation next time to go back and try the fruit fondue.Dine in: YesOutdoor seating: Yes
Had such a fun time here! The waitress was fantastic and did a great job of informing us on the whole experience. Dessert fondue was life!
The fondue experience is just that, a culinary experience. The food is fantastic. This is not the place to go on a day you're experiencing decision fatigue! Go when everyone is healthy and you have plenty of time to dine. Vegetarian options: They brought an extra set of dipping sauces for the two vegetarians who didn't want meat near their sauces!
I enjoyed the Swiss fondue. The potatoes, sausage, and bread were all good. For dessert, we were brought a stack of dirty dishes. Even the server as he walked away said "these ARE dirty, oh sh!t" ... the bananas were too ripe for me, but the cookie dough and cheesecake was excellent. I didn't care too much for the entree experience, but I can see why others would enjoy it. We were not allowed to keep the broths. I assume it's to protect from lawsuits, but it's silly and wasteful. Wasted a lot of sauce, too. The server lady seemed annoyed, but service was fine. The huckleberry drink was fine. The server should make sure to not touch the rim of our drinking glasses when moving them.
Fondue service is really cute for a date night, and our server was phenomenal. The price is a little steep for the entree in particular; you don't get very much meat at all, which is disappointing. I had the "fondue experience" but next time I'll just get extra sides or a second cheese pot.Recommended dishesCheese Fondue
Everything was good. Food, restaurant, service however, their menu is very limited and very small amounts of meat on the plates to fondue. I understand this is a relative opinion but it is my opinion. I walked out no where near full. Got more food at the next stop we had drinks.Food: 5/5
The food is amazing. What can be better than cheese and chocolate paired with a good Petite Syrah? And the artwork on the wall is a great talking point!
