Urban Kutz Barbershop

I normally don't put up reviews. But Today definitely will be the day! I am so upset with the professionalism and lack of being punctual from "The Artist"! First I want to say that his work is Amazing! but when it comes to handling a situation that was his fault he has disappointed me. Here is a description of the situation.... I came in a day before my son's haircut to make an appointment. I asked if I could make an appointment for the following day for his earliest availability. He told me he would be there at 9 am. Then proceeded to ask me if I'm sure i will be there at 9 am. I agreed and told him I would. When i got to the shop at 845 am no one was there so of course i waited. I call the number on the building.. no answer. He did not get to the shop until 953 am. Because I was so upset( did not want to be irate) I told my child to go in the shop to get his hair cut. Thinking The Artist would not charge us full price or apologize because of his lack of punctuality. Nope low and behold he still charges my son full price with no apology!! So I go into the shop and walk up to him to talk to him without making a scene. He tells me that he has kids he needed to take to school like everyone else( WHY WOULD YOU MAKE THE APPOINTMENT FOR 9 AM IF YOU KNEW YOU HAD TO TAKE YOUR KIDS TO SCHOOL) and that he was okay with charging us full price for the hair cut without any discount and said he apologized to my son. All reality he did not! My advice to anyone going to this shop please make sure that is the only plans you have for that day and don't expect any professional sympathy or apology for their mistakes.Also don't make an appointment because it will be a waste of your time.

My son gets his cut here every time. Loves it. It always looks great!

These guys are great. This was our first time in the shop and my boys enjoyed it. They are attentive too your request, patient with kids and really enjoy there work.
