This is a fun place to go with a good choice of Mexican style food and appetizers. The food was good we had tacos and the prices were reasonable. We really enjoyed the bacon-wrapped shrimp as an appetizer. I would certainly have that again! The guacamole complimentary was very good as well, as was the salsa. The service was very good and everybody was friendly.
We stopped in for our first visit. Room was decorated nice, tvs, group seating options. Place was very clean, staff were friendly and attentive. We had the fajitas and drinks and they tasted great. Will definitely add this spot for a second trip.
Such a fantastic local restaurant with the fastest friendly service I have ever experienced! Our server, Aaron, is the biggest reason to go to this restaurant. Excellent selection of spicy salsas and great happy hour margaritas! Even the owners were kind enough to come by and ask how everything was. I love this place!Dine in: YesOutdoor seating: YesTakeout: Yes
Not horrible food but nothing to go out of the way for. The drinks were the best part of the evening. We ordered a prickly pear margarita and the jalapeño pineapple margarita. We ordered chips and salsa, yes, ordered it as an appetizer with guacamole. The guacamole was pretty bland and was just avocado purée. The kickin chicken had good flavor but was dry and over cooked. The beans were too wet. The rice was good on both plates. The steak tostada had a sauce that wasn’t necessary it was too full to pick up and eat. The steak was cooked well and had decent flavor.
You have to pay for chips and salsa here. They do have happy hour which chips and salsa is like $1. Also all appetizers are $2 off. We got the nachos and omg it’s huge! They are good. The street tacos are not great. We got carne asada and it wasn’t that good. Also I got chicken taco and it was okay.
Love this place!! The food is tasty and fresh. Taco Tuesday is totally worth it and must try. Street tacos are $2 and the churros were so yummy!
One word to describe the Sunday brunch experience…FIRE. Urban Margarita is a must stop for travelers. This connoisseur Texan of breakfast gives this restaurant five stars. I enjoyed the B.L.T.A. Benedict and tasted the French toast. The hollandaise sauce was bomb and the best I’ve ever had. The pecan pumpkin bread pudding was a complete surprise. Not too sweet and subtle pumpkin flavor that was not overpowering. If you have the chance order this bread pudding. You won’t be disappointed. The service was great and the environment was so welcoming. One last word to the owners….don’t you dare lose the chef cause his food is fire.
Came in with a friend for some a drink at the bar. got the prickly pear margarita which was really good! service was a bit slow but the place was busy. however, i was given a class that had a huge lipstick mark which ended up being a conversation starter for the guy sitting next to us. apparently this seems to be a normal thing here. good energy from around the restaurant though, not very attentive servers on the other hand. might be back!
Urban Margarita is my FAVORITE place for Sunday Brunch, Taco Tuesday and pretty much any day they are open! Be sure to check their Facebook page for their amazing Brunch & Weekend specials.
Stopped by late on a weekday night. Not very busy so we went inside. Ordered a round of house margaritas. Pretty tasty and strong for a $6 drink. Service was a bit slow but friendly. My enchiladas, Hatch green chile and cheese, came out looking like a bowl of soup. Completely flat. Very strange looking indeed. However the green sauce tasted fantastic. I just assumed they were in the center of the plate somewhere and started cutting with my fork. My husband liked his flat iron steak, but thought it was over priced for the size. The tacos ordered came out incorrectly, but they brought new ones pretty fast without an issue. The staff was very friendly, the drinks were good... however the food was a bit overpriced.
