Urban Optical

I have been working with Urban Optical since I moved to Park Slope in 1991. They have always been terrific. Highly recommend Adam and his crew.

My husband and I have been going to Urban Optical for years and just love them! The front office staff is the best in Brooklyn! They are always and I mean always extremely helpful, kind and patient. I have never had a bad expierence here and will keep coming back for many years to come!

Bad experience. After I travelled to get to the place I was told I couldn’t talk to anyone without an appointment. There were zero customers in the store. None. Can I wait? No. Can I have an appointment over the weekend? No. Again there was no one In the store.

Have called 5 times and emailed twice to get my prescription. I am out of town and need it to get a new pair of glasses and it's been 10 days and each time I'm assured it will be sent in 20 minutes.

The professional, friendly, knowledgeable staff and optometrists at Urban Optical are matched by a dazzling array of eyeglass frames. My husband and I have been customers for years and we always have a great experience at the shop.

As an ophthalmology resident I was thoroughly impressed by Dr. Adam Friedland's knowledge of eye disorders and pathology. He was very professional and took the time to ensure both my girlfriend and I were happy with our prescription and choice of glasses.

I'm a big fan of Urban Optical. They have a nice variety of frames, including a huge selection of the Danish brand prodesign I own like 4 pair, and the people who work there are super nice and knowledgeable.
