I’d have to agree emphatically with others, the employees are rude. This is the most convenient uo for me and i try to buy online, but i do my returns here-ugh. The security guard is the nicest guy in there. Every time i come through the door he says hello and exiting too. Who does the hiring? Because they need to reassess the importance of a positive customer service experience. As customers were not expecting a lot, we understand it’s not easy to find motivated employees with a strong work ethic. The brand may suffer as employees are a big part of the shopping experience. The product mix is important, but given attitude when trying to find an item or a size is unacceptable. Please do better.
I love Urban and have been a loyal customer for years. I have visited many Urban locations around the world, but this was by far the worst one. Not only was the inventory disappointing, but the employees were also extremely rude. I did not feel welcomed at all and felt uneasy when I left. The cashier who checked me out was very curt and was racist towards me as a black woman. Her reference number is 303539. For a store located on a major avenue in New York City, I expected much better.
The staff in the dressing room lost my items while I was fitting clothes. No apologies. It was confusing. Not my ideal store
Useless workers, bad customer service , they said they had a certain item in stock, I went over 20 miles because they said they had this certain item in stock. I got there to ask if they have the item and the guy with braids went ahead and helped someone else then they blasted music really loud as I started to get annoyed. No one was any help. No wonder why urban outfitters are closing down! NO HELP USELESS STAFF EXPENSIVE
This is a sad one. I have been coming to this urban for 3 years now, love the clothes but recently I had an experience that left me feeling uneasy. I had tried some clothes on in the fitting room and 2 min after leaving, I realized I had lost my sunglasses. I looked everywhere, in the fitting room I was in, in the store, nothing. I asked 3 employees if they had been found and they were not help at all, rude frankly. I then realized I sent a picture to my friend of the skirt I had tried on to get her advice and in the picture were my sunglasses, sitting on the chair. I then went back to Urban and asked them to please look and that someone who cleaned the fitting room must have found them. The manager came and said that person had conviniently left. They then spend 20 min "looking" when they finally decided to open the little drawer in the fitting room and there they were. If I hadn't pushed them to look and been persistent they would have kept them for themselves. Moral of the story be careful with employees here, you can't trust them.
I’m visiting NYC for the first time, and the majority of my clothes are from Urban Outfitters due to their extensive variety of clothing. However, I visited 521 Fifth Avenue and I was shocked by the horrible service of cashier 302180, I don’t even know her name but I do have the receipt. I have never been treated with such disrespect, it makes me so uncomfortable to even come back.
Cool clothes, mostly friendly staff, some were amazing, some were less than. However, overall, it was a good experience. This location has a lot of options!
Great place to show the prices arr so high though !
Busy store - personally I love their range of clothing. Also stocks accessories and make up. Not too impressed with the service as the staff is unfriendly and not very helpfully
Wide variety of cute and well-made trendy clothes at steep prices, but a great sale section.
