We are a non-profit organization making exercise accessible and affordable to the underserved communities.
We are striving to remove all ‘Gym Deserts’ by remodeling abandoned spaces in low resourced communities where obesity and hypertension are rampant.
Our story (the super quick version!):
We began because residents in English Avenue asked for a safe place to exercise. In January 2012, we officially opened our doors in the shared space of a church with a focus on youth fitness. Due to community involvement we quickly added Zumba and group fitness classes for adults. Over the course of the last 2 years, we have grown significantly due to community members attending the $2 classes (kids under 18 exercise for free), a grant from the Atlanta Falcons Youth Foundation, GoodSports, the annual Casino Night fundraiser, and individual donors. Thanks to the ArthurM. Blank Family Foundation grant and the Miami Dolphins equipment donations, we celebrated the grand opening of our new facility on May 31, 2014!

We improve the health of families in underserved communities by promoting quality nutrition and active lifestyles. Our vision is to partner with local organizations to decrease rates of obesity, cardiovascular disease and diabetes; thus, creating a health conscious change in the community.
