Closed for lunch for over an hour. Does not pick up phone number that's posted. About 10+ people on line. I think this station needs to hire more people.
Very unhelpful man working the front who couldn’t answer any of my questions and acted like he didn’t want to be there. You are better off going to UPS down the street.
I had an exceptional experience at this location, especially during the holiday season. The gentleman that helped me bald head, late Wednesday afternoon went above and beyond the call of duty. While this location didn't have the specific regional box which I need to ship items in, he went the extra mile and found a box for me, which in the long run, saved me time and money. This has never happened to me before and I wish there were more USPS representatives like him around. Kudos and happy holidays!
Had a great experience on a Monday during December, which you would never expect. There was a female employee there today who is doing everything she could to make sure everybody had everything correct so they could be in and out, which I was. Not to mention the last three times I've gone I've always had a good experience. If more post offices around the country were like Like this one, stamps.com would have a run for its money!!
Went to get a passport photo since this location was listed as an option online. The postal worker said they don't do pictures but the sign above her said they did. When I asked about it, she ignored me and serviced another customer. I asked where else I could go, and again silence. This was my first experience in this location. What an awful way to treat customers! I went down the block to UPS store and they were so pleasant and helpful. Suggest some customer service training for Arlington Fern St USPS location. It shouldn't be this hard for something so basic. Kindness and respect matters.
I have a PO Box here and they consistently misplace my mail and packages. I often don’t get notifications in my box that I have a package that needs to be picked up. The only way I know is because I have the tracking number. I would avoid this location as much as possible. Every single time I’ve ever checked my box when the office is closed there are homeless people occupying the lobby where the PO Boxes are located. It didn’t bother me until one of them came up to me and started touching a picture on my jacket that was really intriguing to him. It doesn’t feel safe and now I won’t check my mail unless the office is open.
Quite possibly one of the worst USPS facilities I have ever had to interact with in my life. I dropped a bill and two cards in their mailbox 11 days ago and none of them have arrived to their intended destinations--all were going to different locations, so I'm fairly confident their local offices aren't the problem. They were also the ones who were supposed to process my address forwarding, which never got done. They're beyond rude and unhelpful and would HIGHLY encourage you to visit literally any other USPS facility in the area.
It’s always packed after 3pm with one window open. Twice there was another clerk there but I guess their shift was over. They also don’t have a stamp vending machine like Franconia Rd. so I don’t like it for that reason as well.
Sad; marginal customer service; terrible attitudes; no sense of urgency in assisting customers as quickly as possible. I opened a PO box there and within 2 weeks they managed to loose or remove a package I was waiting to receive. The shipper confirmed it was delivered to the P.O. staff. Maybe it was given to the wrong customer. I don't know but I never got it. After experiencing missing and delayed letter mail and other issues, I ended up closing the box after one month. It cost me about half of the 6 month box rental fee even though I only had it for 4 weeks. None of the post offices in the area have good ratings/reviews and I have seen why. The US Postal Service is not what it use to be.
Rude, unhelpful staff who could not demonstrate a basic understanding of their own USPS products, try to get customers to buy unnecessary extra products, and openly mock or berate their customers. If you're lucky you'll just be ignored and forced to go elsewhere to have a package mailed. Unacceptably unprofessional.
