I will give them one star because they have parking. This is my second visit. The employees are talking to each other about personal relationships. While customers wait. I waited 10+ minutes for one lady working. While her male coworker just vented about his relationships. Some dude came in smelling of weed and the lady helped him before me. Just crazy. Won't come back.
For some reason, my address and possibly my neighbors/entire street does not receive expected package deliveries. Instead of attempting to deliver by ringing the doorbell, walking up the stairs, leaving in the mailbox delivery notices are placed in my mailbox saying I MUST pick up in-person and no reason is given as to WHY. If I had a car, I wouldn't mind the inconvenience so much, but the fact of the matter is I placed an order to be delivered not for me to pick it up and USPS needs to do that or start including a stipend for Uber every time they leave me a notice. Also they NEVER pick up the phone at this location, so don't even waste your time trying.
Short lines and great customer service. I needed two boxes and to understand the difference in pricing. The associate was willing and able to take the time to explain the process and offer the best option for where I was shipping my items to.
Unhelpful counter staff. Doesn't seem interested in helping people find lost mail. I get that he can't just go find it.....but at least pretend like you care....or get a different line of work.
The worst post office! Constantly putting my mail in my neighbors mailbox. Complaining gets you nowhere. 0 STARS!! UPDATE 2/2022... This post office is STILL putting my mail in my neighbors box. I have taped my name all over the inside of my box. I have missed important deadline mail because the carrier constantly puts my mail in my neighbors box.
This post office is the worst! I originally thought perhaps neighbors were taking my packages but now I truly believe they’ve gone missing due to the incompetence of the people who work there. You can never get someone on the phone and when you visit in person they’re either rude or simply nowhere to be found. I received a recent email notice that two packages were delivered both small enough to fit in the mailbox yet only one was there, on the floor. After calling the general USPS number another nightmare to make a claim, I receive a call from the location manager that admits the driver scanned the items in the truck and not actually when/after they were delivered. I’m still waiting on a follow up to my claim but the line is always busy when I call. I’d gladly pay extra to never have my online orders delivered by USPS but alas!
I’m relieved to see that I’m not just imagining things. This is the worst postal office I’ve ever experienced in my life. The workers well one lady in particular is so rude and unprofessional. I moved in this 20018 zip code in October and I can’t even count how many times I’ve had to call and complain about my packages being marked delivered and NOT delivered.... or marked picked up and NOT picked up before. It’s ridiculous! The worker walks up an down the block talking on her phone on speaker loud n ghetto. It’s insane... I’m just amazed at how nothing is being done after seeing all these reviews. I’ve called and complained and several times my mail mysteriously disappeared and “got lost in the system”. Unreal... I will be getting corporate involved ASAP.
I visit the post office on 4/2/20 because I receive a email stating that there was no one available to receive the package. Now it’s available to be picked up from the post office, once there I explain to the clerk what happened she said said the package wasn’t there and the carrier would deliver it back today. When the mail carrier arrive she stated that she didn’t have anything for me. Day two I call and spoke with a clerk that kept me on hold , once she got back on the phone she told me to call back at 9 o’clock when the carrier would be at work. I I called back at 9:30 no one would pick up the phone. It’s 4 PM my mail person still did not have my package. The day it was supposed to be delivered our original mail person was off that day it was a man I think someone stole it. Very unprofessional all of them need to be fired.
I recently moved a few blocks which caused my post office to change from the one on Brentwood Rd to here. The Brentwood Rd location is a typical to better than average USPS experience, but this location is just horrible. I had a package that was never attempted to be delivered, just skipped straight to "held at post office" without leaving an attempted delivery slip. I went to pick it up at 1 pm one day last week and the door to the storefront was unlocked I guess to provide access to the P.O. boxes, but there were other items out as well it was not just a vestibule with P.O. boxes but no employees were there. There was a sign on the door saying "we are at lunch and will return at 1:30 pm". This is a post office not a general store, come on. Today I called the central USPS number and they had a record of the redelivery confirmation for the request I made after I was unable to pick up my package. They said it had been ignored and created another request. They also created a log of the fact that delivery and redelivery were both never attempted as documented in their own internal system. Please improve this location to even the standard of a below average post office.
Never in my life have I experienced the unprofessionalism and lack of care at a post office, until having to deal with this post office. My packages are consistently being delivered to the wrong address or not getting delivered at all. The Postal Carriers have lied on several occasions saying that they delivered packages to my garage and after going up to the post office many times, talking with management and getting corporate involved did the truth come out that my package was delivered to the wrong address. I had to file a claim and I still didn't receive a full refund. This post office is beyond terrible. I used the USPS tracking system to track my package and received a notice that there was a failed delivery attempt. The reason stated that there was no secure area to leave the package. Are you kidding me. How about my garage door, where all my packages are left, or maybe the mailbox bin that holds small packages would have worked. The system's notes stated that the delivery attempt was at 5:07pm. This is an absolute lie. I was home all day. It also stated that a note was left. The second lie. There was no note left, because no one ever tried to deliver my package. This post office needs new management and staff ASAP.
