US Post Office

RUDE RUDE and RUDE! The clerk rarely speaks or interacts with customers. But, when she does, she is extremely RUDE. I only visit the Post Office when I’m running late and without fail, I regret my decision. If Post Office leadership reads any of these reviews and values customer service, REASSIGN this clerk to a position that involves ZERO customer interaction.

It's ridiculous how I send a package to this post office, and they say "reschedule to next delivery day." And then, they LOSE the package. Now I am out money, and the USPS won't pay. So it's okay for employees to steal packages???

For a taxpayer owned establishment, it’s in credible how poor the customer services. For one they have the hours listed outside and they will see you standing outside the building and they will still open the building 10 minutes late. Then I pretty much always thought the woman who always worked there was mute because she doesn’t respond to you with words she only responds in gestures and eye rolls. But then I heard her talking on the phone when she was leaving. Not to mention that they don’t even keep most of the envelopes and stuff that should be out actually out on the floor. You have to ask them to give them to you and obviously interacting with the staff is not desirable

The worst customer service the person is there she’s just not attempt it I walk in there and I said good morning she didn’t even reply back to me I repeated again good morning and she just nodded her head I don’t think it’s too hard to be nice to someone especially when you’re helping people I really don’t like to go there because her energy is just really bad she really need work in Attitude i’m sorry to say that I have to have 2 time review unfortunately I have to go back to the post office and I just had the most horrible experience with this person there somebody dropped their keys by the door and I picked them up and I told her that I was just gonna leave them there for her maybe somebody will come and look for them she said no that she did not care that it was not her keys I told her that that was not very nice of her that she was not a very nice person and unfortunately I lost my Cool and I told her she was crazy she came out of the post office tried to attack me I tried to go to the other post office to make a physical complaint this is not OK people like that should not be working for the post office I thought they work for the post office was honorable you should be thankful that you have a job and good benefits not too many people have that right now very and considerate person and I’m not trying to be mean working with her attitude and again today is November 22, 2022 I visit this location again unfortunately I’m trying to be nice to her and I didn’t say anything to this woman I just left my package she started telling me that how could I leave it there review that that was a criminal thing the way I was treating her I really don’t understand how anybody does do anything about this I tried to reach out to the postman and the other location and nothing has been done honestly I don’t wish harm to her and I really hope that she gets better as a person but she did that right in front of all the customers really bad and I’m really damn done I’m not going back there ever again what a horrible person

I will never enter this post office again. The woman behind the counter is incredibly rude. Every interaction I have had with her has left me wondering why the USPS does not reassign her to a position that does not call for customer interaction. I'd rather wait in line at the Wythe Street station if I have to mail a package. I no longer consider the Post Office my first choice, I now ship packages via FEDEX ground and drop them off at Walgreens in Del Ray. A much more pleasant experience than dealing with the rude person behind the counter at the Del Ray Post Office.

Worst customer service at a USPS I’ve ever experienced. The only clerk who works there is extremely rude and unhelpful. Upon my first visit, thought she might have just been having a bad day. However, it’s been consistently rude and poor, to include turning away service. Go somewhere else if you’re able.

The negative reviews prompted me to write this review. First off, any worker, regardless of gender, doesn’t owe anyone a smile or small talk. The clerk can be a little short sometimes but she is also efficient. Sometimes the lunch break doesn’t end exactly when it’s “supposed to” because she doesn’t get to go on lunch when she’s supposed to. And she very obviously has a service dog with her. It is not her pet. Remember some disabilities are invisible. This post office is a McDonald’s hamburger. It’s not great, no frills but you know what you are getting yourself into and it’s a decent standard in a pinch. I’ve been using it for over 10 years and never had a problem with any of our mail getting lost or returned.

this is my neighborhood post office, its wonderfully convenient, and is a small, limited services location. I have never had a problem with the clerk, I come prepared and dont expect them to chat me up. They do their job, quickly and efficiently.

It's really hit or miss. I had a package going to a military base overseas that was returned bc of something the post office did and there are employees that don't wear masks despite an order to or they'll play gospel music. But, I've also had some really good experiences there/ it's convenient. Update: had three packages sent to my old address after I filed a change of address form. the station master won't return the investigator's calls/ emails. basically a trash substation.

Like others, the negative reviews prompted me to write this. I visited at 10a on a Saturday. Parking was relatively easy and the service was friendly and quick. There was only 1 other customer there and the woman behind the counter was extremely quick and helpful. This is a small location so could understand how it gets busy, but it was convenient for me!
