It was a great time. We had a birthday party for a 10 year old and her 10 closest friends. We ordered a couple pizzas, some appetizers, drinks and a cake and it was all great. The kids and adults had lots of fun.
Been here a couple times in a few months and so far it’s been consistent. Super slow service, it’s always really hot, and you can never understand what the guy says over the intercom. And the bathrooms are always out of stuff and gross. Overall good time, will still return, the nachos are pretty good, but the place just feels run down and not managed correctly.
Haven’t skated in three years and it was disturbing how the smell of sweat in an old skate rink is somehow nostalgic. Nice linoleum floor, classic roller skating experience from half-edible food to garish old 80s looking carpet. The capturing of skating rinks in my youth this place has is art worthy. Only big disappointment is that you’re not allowed to backwards skate except if they do it as one of their 5-10 minute “special” skates. They have cheap cookies that are really good somehow.
Seriously can’t express how amazing our experience was with my daughters bday party here. Our party helper was Zack and honestly he made everything perfect! He went above and beyond for us to make or time here memorable! So let me give a little back story, this is actually the second time we have done a bday party here. The first time the party host was a female don’t remember the name and it was very different. She was nice but we hardly saw her. She didn’t greet us at the entrance like Zack did. She didn’t give my daughter the birthday glow sticker like he did. We didn’t get the bow glow headband like he did. He made sure they put songs that we wanted which the past host did not. He kept checking on us to see if we needed anything. We where prepared with the candles, lighter, forks, cake knife because last time she didn’t have anything and then Zack comes with our cake and candles, knife plates, lighter etc. as I said it was such a different experience that even my oldest got a bit bummed because she didn’t get that same experience so Zack tried his best to make her feel included! That meant so much to us! I also want to mention the Brazilian guy don’t know his name He was so sweet to talk to my baby girl in Portuguese for her birthday since it’s her favorite language. He also made sure that we had our songs played too! And the security guy last name Cueves I think, anyways, he made us feel so welcomed at the door and was just a sweet heart! So thank you all! If you are having a bday party request Zack as your host because he’s the best and makes your time there honestly so special! Zack you have a good head on your shoulders and we thank you so much for last night! See you in November for my daughter Delilah’s bday party!! Ambar and Danny

To the air conditioner was having isues or something it was a sauna sunday 430 to 700 session We brought friends in and cupcakes and we had a blast alot hott but staff was amazing with my kids and never made us fell judged when our kids had issues I. Floor skating or there. Meltdown and stimming any where I'm giving. You 4 stars cause staff was amazing . Wish air conditioner was working better and music. Was a little lowered. I have kids that are sensitive to sound and that was worst part. Heat and over stimulation .. Above all my daughter had an amazing 4th birthday. Day and cupcakes at skateland mesa ...
So much fun every time! Staff Is always super nice And all together amazing!
This place is great! The line was not too long, and the people that go are good people. I fell a bunch of times but plenty of other experienced skaters where more than happy to help me back up. I really should have just used the skating poles for newbies. There is no judgment on those who need to use them. I would go back in a heart beat. Prices were fair as well. They do skating sessions where only people who bring their own skates have access to the floor at certain times. If I were a more serious skater I would get my own skates, but I'm not. The skates they provide for the guests are good as well. They are what you would expect for used skates. They do a good job of sanitizing them so I wasn't worried. You are also required to wear wrist guards, theirs are not very comfortable so I would get your own wrist guards, you can get some pretty cheap ones on Amazon. Wear pants if your a newbie like me. It will help preserve your knees when you fall. And long socks, The skates provided will chafe your ankles if you dont.
We had our twins' 14th birthday party here. Our party was from 1pm - 330pm. It was pretty awesome. They have the party kind of scheduled in terms of keeping up a flow. Our host was awesome! He told us we could call him Santana and I'm so sorry that I don't remember his actual name. He was so personable and really was trying to help us as best he could even though our kiddos and their friends were all over the place and not the best at sticking to the schedule. We forgot our candles, but no worries, they had candles and arranged them around the cake for us. The candles have paper connected so they only had to light part of the candles and the flame wrapped around the cake lighting the other candles on it's own. I thought it was pretty awesome. We had upgraded to the glow party, which most of the time, the lights were on so we didn't really get to experience that fully. It might be different if it's a night time party, but from my experience, if you're having a day party, you can skip this upgrade. We would definitely have a party here again if it's chosen by one of our kiddos in the future.
We had a great time, AC in the front is non existent, really really slow at getting people inside initially. Could use a thorough cleaning.
It's good enough, but I would only suggest the business offer more options. The place could benefit from an upgrade or remodeling. Perhaps a wall to hold on to for beginners? Unfortunately, there is a premium to pay for the kids to use a skate walker. I just think since it's in the interests of business invitee safety, it should be complimentary. The food is decent for the occasion, but could probably use some revamped marketing and gimmicks seen in other fun spots in town. I would recommend bringing youngsters over seven years of age here only.
