Utah Spine + Sport

I’ve been coming to Utah Spine and Sport for a couple of years now and they are far superior to the other chiropractors in the area that I have tried. They have helped me stay healthy while training for marathons, through a pregnancy and recovery, and daily living. I trust them to treat my baby as well. Dr. Makin is very personable and really gets to know his patients and their needs. He is very thorough and knowledgeable - he has helped me with things right away that other chiropractors haven’t been able to after months of treatment. All of the staff is very good and friendly, and one of the best things for me is that their office is welcoming of my kids. I don’t have to get a babysitter to come, and my kids actually love going there!

Dr Makin is extremely knowledgeable, and personable. He made extra effort to fit my husband in to the schedule when he threw his back out. He understands sports injuries really well, and listens to his patient's concerns. The feedback he gave was very helpful, and my husband was feeling much better after just one session. Highly recommend this office!

I came in for my first visit in A LOT of pain. Pain everywhere...after my first treatment and adjustment I have been pain free for an entire week! I have not been pain free for over a year! The most amazing thing is Dr. Makin adjusted my knee and it has not hurt since! Truly miraculous!

I was in severe back pain 10 months after major reconstructive surgery on my entire spine. Physical therapy at a very reputable pain management clinic was not making much (if any) progress. After one week of starting treatment with Dr. Makin, I am doing fantastic! I'm stunned by the results. I went from laying down after getting home from an office job and for the entire weekend, to being completely mobile and active. I wouldn't believe it if I hadn't experienced it myself. Not only that, but I feel he cares and I have observed while he works with other patients how closely he listens to them. He keeps up on the latest research and uses the latest technology and techniques. He seems passionate about helping people get over their pain. I travel 25 minutes to his office even though there are plenty of chiropractors closer to my home. I'll take his expertise, his caring, and his integrity any day over visiting a closer office. He came highly recommended and he has not disappointed. As a bonus, his staff is amazing. They are always so pleasant and make you feel like family. My only regret is not starting with him months ago.

I have really enjoyed coming to Utah Sport and Spine. I am have extreme lower back problems and if I don’t come in I pay the price. Thanks Dallas and staff!!
