Wish I could give zero stars. I'm terribly disappointed in the financial department at UVM Medical Center. I made a payment plan, and paid them monthly as agreed. Even though I have record that the agreed upon amount was paid every month, simply because the payment got to them later than the first day of the month they sent me to collections. I asked them to remove me from collections, since I had proof that payment was sent to them monthly in the required amount, but they refused. It is truly awful that people who are doing the right thing, and paying their bill every month get punished. Incredibly disappointing, zero stars for their handling of this situation, and likely they have done this to others as well.
Never was sent a bill, just sent to collections. They even admitted to not reaching out properly, no apology not even a thank you once the bill was paid.
The phone was answered right away. The information I was seeking was relayed to me quickly and completely. The individual at the other end of the phone was very pleasant.
Not letting me do my comfort when upset food is bad not nice to me or my grandparent my got my grandpa in trouble for saving my life because I was having trouble breathing.
They do not know how to solve the problem! They just passsed me to my inssurance company. They were the one who should solve the problem.

I called to settle my bill. I waited for over 20 minutes on hold, then was hung up on. I guess they don't want my money enough to hire the correct amount of employees.
Spoke with a female staff at their billing department and she was very rude and impatient. “Unprofessional and untrained” should be their motto.
I would give customer service a negative number if it were available. No one should have to be on hold for an hour or more to talk to someone. Patients pay plenty. I think it’s time to hire more people folks!!!
