Place of choice for my entire family, for years Valencia Bakery have been a family stable for choice birthday cake. With their various cakes and good there's never a time when choosing a cake would be difficult, they make amazing beautiful cake with excellent flavor and style. We have been ordering this cake for all our birthdays and Holidays over 60 years. And i most said that the last four time. We order until yestureday.Has been a a disappointment the cakes are dry, hard or grinding. something is not the same. We usually make sure to pick it up on the same day to make sure that is fresh, they have not been. We have travel to three different Bakery throughout the Bronx and still the same I reached out to them they stated they bake the cakes the same day and it's the same recipe maybe I'm wrong and my family but it's not the same to us any longer

This bakery has been the family favorite for years. I visited them for Mother’s Day and they had a wide variety of pastries and cakes ready for one’s liking. The cakes were delicious and fresh. The bakers made ideal gifts for my family and neighbors. Valencia is No. 1 in my family!! I always visit when I am in NY from PR.

My father and I ordered a cake for the first time at Valencia by phone for my birthday yesterday. We asked for Vanilla Buttercream, with Fresh Strawberries and Banana Custard inside the cake and when the cake arrived it was already cracking. I didn't mind this, and the cake looked pretty, but when I cut a piece for my sister and I, the cake tasted Very Dry, and nasty, they put Strawberry Jam instead of fresh strawberries and there was NO BANANAS inside and the amount was very thin and not what we asked for. The cake tasted OLD, completely disgusting, everyone at my birthday did not get to Enjoy any Cake because it was horrible, and it was not Buttercream at all as I asked too. POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE, NO Refunds they said which was not mentioned over the phone to us at all, and they gave us attitude the entire time. We spoke to a Stephanie and she told us we will deal with you tomorrow over the phone, which is VERY RUDE and Unprofessional, to say to CUSTOMERS that keep their Business a float. On top of that we did not get the full refund back, which was $30.60 and they only gave us $20.00 back, not the FULL REFUND like they should have given for that disgusting cake that ain't even worth $1. And they had the nerve to say if we wanted another cake. On top of that the man that was the supposed be the owner or manager, was staring my father down like he was lying and looked like he was trying to pick a fight! I would NEVER recommend this place to anyone! Save your money and go somewhere else, a child could do better at baking than what was given to us! I would give this NO STARS if I could!! >:

Valencia Bakery ‘s have been part of my life since my first 16th birthday. I am now 64 on many occasions I am I don’t know who thought of it but they make it I half cake you could purchase one that’s all you need. Reasonable so I keep coming back many years later. Oh they even made my wedding cake.

We have been ordering this cake here for over 50 years and when I tell you it is 2022 now and the recipe has changed the cake now taste super dry and hard . Something has changed. I been eating this cake for years so i definitely could tell the difference its so sad. this was are favorite family to go cake . We got are last cake hear Thanksgiving day 11/2022 try to give it another opportunity but it has been a disappointment again dry, and hard something is not the same.

I hadn't eaten Valencia Bakery cake since I was 9-10 years old. Finally I did again on my senior birthday. Blessings they haven't changed much. exceptional cakes.

What can I say that hasn't been said I grew up with Valencia cakes Birthday christings anniversary every celebration our cakes came from here. I move to Queens and still came to the store on 103 and Harlem now I move to Florida and came to visit going back I bought 3 cakes.

Omg they still got it, I’ve been eating this cake for years and moved. When I was in the area I ordered a 6” and it was still amazing. From pineapple to guava add their vanilla ice cream and enjoy. To order guava or other special flavors call a day in advance.
