Did a great job and got me in and out in a reasonable amount of time I definitely will be using valley power from now on for all my Detroit needs, and beto was really helpful and updated me on the process thank you
We returned a part on 12-2-2022. It’s 12-12-2022 they still have not returned the money on our cards. Every time we call they get our info but still have not not refunded the money. Very unprofessional
Quick. They keep me on the Road
Very nice people I have warranty’s my DEF pump they did change and fix it KTC inc. Truck
Their computer properly diagnosed the problem. However, there technicians were lacking training and proper tools for wiring an allison transmission. Apparently pin connections are important for the transmission to talk to the computer. As a direct result of this, time was lost and resources were wasted. At the end of the day i paid $860 for parts i didnt need and labor i didnt need.and the manager said this was a deal for us and should have been double. In addition too i then had to drive my motor coach to another transmission shop down the road. I am now up and running at a fraction of the cost that i paid at valley power. Just to clarify what happened: valley power ran new wire between my transmission and computer. Speculating they used wrong type of wire, they ran a 2nd set of wires. These wires were spliced into the computer on my motor coach. Apparently this is a big no, no. As the computer needs pin connectors to properly communicate with transmission. Which they did not have. Then they speculated that the transmission would have to come down, as there is a sensor inside also. Thankfully we left and came to a shop that has proper pin connectors.
We came in with a d-rated engine. It was a warranty issue that was professionally repaired in a minimal amount of time.
Valley Power Inc. has the unique situation of being the only MTU dealer in the area. We wanted to purchase the MTU 4R1000 because in that size package it offered the amount of HP that we required. In the beginning Valley Power was very helpful with purchasing the right engine for our needs. However, once the final check was written and the problems started they were nowhere to be found. We have had issue after issue with these engines and getting them to come up with the proper finances to fix the problem proved to be impossible. The MTU engine is a great engine but Valley Power has provided one of the worst customer services I have ever had the misfortune of experiencing. If you are looking at buying an engine from them, I would recommend going elsewhere.
They really know what they are doing. The expertise with Detroit products is unsurpassed!!
