Valleydale Animal Clinic is an AAHA-accredited, full-service vet clinic that has proudly supported pet owners in Birmingham, Hoover, Chelsea, Indian Springs and other areas of Jefferson County and Shelby County since 1976.

Everyone is friendly and knowledgeable! The ladies at the front desk are always so helpful and always answer any questions I have, even if I call 2x in a row with questions... We see Dr. LaRocca. She always explains everything, and my cat and I always understand what and why we are doing what we're doing! My cat had an emergency recently and Valleydale Animal Clinic was able to see her immediately! Thank you for a wonderful Vet experience. The cost of services here are reasonable and comparable to other offices in the area.
Everyone is super friendly at Valleydale Animal Clinic. They all take time to love on my dog. It is just ridiculously priced. I spent $230 for five minutes of their time and a few vaccine updates‍ Being able to take care of a dog shouldn’t cost that much!
Dr. Davis was absolutely fantastic with my ferret, who was very sick and her amazing team got him in day of in a pinch. She was thorough, knowledgeable and kind. I would recommend her for your special friend any time! My ferret really connected with her and her assistant quickly which was super reassuring.

We started using Valleydale Animal Clinic six years ago when we found our little rescue. I can’t tell you how much we adore this place and the people that work there. Our Brady is so excited to go there, he can hardly contain himself when we pull up. Caring loving professional and experienced staff… It’s the only place we trust with our little guy.
We recently moved from North Carolina to Birmingham and needed to get our dogs in to a vet. We had no idea about the area or a good place to go. We ended up at VAC and lucked out!! The Dr. And staff were so helpful and our fur babies loved them.
The vet tech who worked with us was wonderful with the kitties! Dr. Davis, as always, was gentle, patient, and thorough with her care for my babies. I couldn't be happier with the care we received.
We’ve been going to Valleydale for over a year now with our 12 year old Terrier/Chihuahua Spanky and 5 year old cat Ellie. Spanky had to have extensive dental surgery a few months ago and had 10 teeth removed. Valleydale has been great to us and I definitely recommend them for simple check ups as well as any surgeries or extensive work.
Valleydale Animal Clinic staff and physicians are very dedicated to our pet’s health and wellness! Macy received a thorough exam and treatment and is already feeling so much better! Thank you all!
I have taken my fur babies to Valleydale for decades. Everyone at Valleydalle shares a true love for amimals that is obivious from the minute you walk through the door. Their knowledge , combined with their compassion , makes them number one in my book! They also understand the deep connection between people and their pets. I con't rate them high enough! Visit them yourself, and you will see exactly what I am talking about. They are the best!
