I relocated to Charlotte 2 years ago and I have used the Valvoline on Randolph Rd for all of my oil changes. My oil change was not due but today I went in to have my car checked over for a long Holiday trip and the service was exceptional. Alex serviced my car and this mechanic was not only extremely knowledgeable but his customer service was Super Outstanding. I have recommended this place to friends and family living here and visiting. Valvoline you guys do a wonderful job and hold on to that Alex he is an absolute gem.Service: Oil change
These guys and gals do good work. More than just an oil change. I got my truck inspected last time and once I even had them change the serpentine belt. Much more affordable than many other service mechanics.
Quite possibly the most idiotic interaction. Store manager, Katie, is incompetent. Brought my own oil because they don’t carry Diesel oil, and they wanted to charge me 15 dollars more than a standard oil change that includes their oil. When I asked her for an explanation, she said because prices have gone up. She said it’s more expensive for oil now...I brought my own oil! They also lost my registration…when I asked them to find it…the kid picked up a soda and looked under the keyboard 3 different times before saying he couldn’t find it… Staff has ruined the place.
Absolutely horrible experience today. They let me sit in line for an HOUR to tell me when I pull up their inspection machine was down. When I first pulled in and was greeted I told them what I was there for. Why they let me sit there and not say anything is beyond me, when I was told the news the teenage boys working were rude and not apologetic. Would not recommend.
Came in with my VW, and had them complete an oil change. The oil change was done incorrectly b/c hours later I was leaking oil. Had to go to the VW dealership and get it fixed. Called the Valvoline Manager and she said she completed an investigation and admitted their screw up and that corporate would take 2-3 weeks to send me a check. A month later I call corporate only to find out the manager never put in a claim, b/c they never put my information in the system in the first place. Luckily I still had the VW dealership receipt with the description of what happened. She lead me to believe she did all these things to fix their mistake, just to sweep it under the rug and pretend it never happened. Horrible customer service and will never go to another Valvoline again.
Used to be the only oil change place I’d go to. Because of that I went last week but waited 30 minutes just to see one car be completed out of 3 with 8 cars in front so I left, cane back later, still long line with no cars being completed in reasonable times and cars coming in way after you get closer when others leave in other lanes. Went back AGAIN and another line of 9 cars. Btw every time I went was around 11 am on a weekday which is usually pretty slow but now it’s time to find somewhere new.
Waited an hour and fifteen mins only to find out they did not have my oil filter in stock and all they could say was I'm sorry I asked ifi went and got the filter could they put me at the front of the line and the manager said she could not guarantee it. I don't work in this service busines but do work in the appliance repair business doesn't take a rocket scientist to see an easy fix....simply check the cars ahead in line and make sure they have everything to complete the service instead of making the customer wait in line only to find out they don't have what they need. I have used this location and other locations but I doubt I will be back Take 5 had everything needed and took half the time !

Go there all the time for oil changes. They are busy, but the place is great and so are the workers.
I’m very particular with my oil changes and this place always does a great job. They let me use my own oil & filter and inspect to make sure everything was done right. I bring all my cars here and will definitely continue to come back.
