This is a beautiful restaurant, serving Indian cuisine! We went here after work during Center City Sips where you can have half price off appetizers and cocktails. We ordered one of each appetizers and the food was fresh, delicious and was served within 10 minutes after our order. The hospitality from the staff was pleasant. The bartender Will was kind and provided great service. The Spicy Margaritas are a must try! We had 5 in total. : I also had Stemmari red wine, which was good as well. You can sign up for rewards which is a nice perk when you come back to use. I can't wait to come back again!
The place is nicely decorated. The food is average in taste and is expensive. We waited for 40 min for our food to arrive. We had called in advance and reserved a table for 2, and yet we were made to sit at the bar as the host didn’t know if any table would be available anytime soon. They offer bottomless mimosas so people just occupy tables for long time.
Good ambience and hip atmosphere. The staff were friendly and welcoming. The food was great. Very authentic Indian spices and flavors. The portions were a little small compared to the price for us. The drinks were great too!
We really enjoyed the food at Veda! I think the star of the evening was our waitress, who was so fun, fresh, and helpful! We asked for garlic naan with chopped green chilis on top and our waitress was more than ready to accommodate our request try this next time! in India we call it Turbo Naan. The food was lovely and had authenticity embedded into each dish. We felt at home and relished in the delightful flavors in our dishes. I will say that their Srikhand a Maharashtran yogurt delicacy wasn’t the best and wasn’t given to us with the raspberry topping promised; its consistency is more in line with Rabdi a milk fat pudding, and it was pretty underwhelming. Other than that, the dining experience was nothing short of perfect!
I loved the food here, but I wanted more... Not more from the restaurant more foods it was fantastic! Not sure what you want to get? Order the chef's sampler for lunch, a great value, and you won't be disappointed, it has a little of everything. The food here tastes fresh and blows away some of the Indian food I had in the past.
Nice ambience and courteous staff. Spicy Jalapeno Margarita was the star. Biryani was not authentic felt like rice and masala cooked together. Kulfi was watered down ice. Will give this place a try again once more for sure
Excellent food and the staff was attentive. I had made reservations and we were seated quickly. It helps that it was during a weekday. The interior is super clean, bright and beautiful so I can actually see my food.
Great place to grab a bite. We visited for a birthday party. Everything was on point. The food tasted good. 3/5 for the fish peri peri dish. They didn’t have Mumbai mule in stock the day I visited. Imli sharbat was amazing. Overall great experience. A little expensive but worth it. Would definitely recommend
Chhole bhature, garlic naan and crispy spinach were pretty good. The thali was average and less in quantity. Drinks were fine as well. Well decorated and nice ambience with groovy Punjabi music :
I hosted a graduation party for my husband at Veda. The restaurant personnel, Kiran helped me organize it. We went for a prefix menu. Kiran gave me the idea of having personalized menu cards to add a special touch. All the guests loved the food and service. We had a private space too. I highly recommend Veda!
