Danny is super helpful. This Pharmacy is an angel! I contacted my clinic for a thousand years merely in order to get my prescription but failed. Danny is so nice and voluntarily offered to help contact them and got my medication successfully. Always responsive and efficient. The best in the US!

So glad to have this pharmacy in the neighborhood! I never have to wait long to have my prescription filled, and the pharmacist is very helpful and knowledgeable. Staff is also very friendly when shopping for beauty supplies. Overall great customer service!

This is a small, neighborhood pharmacy. The space is small, the customer service is excellent and staff is friendly and professional. I have been a customer over two years, and in that time I have grown to appreciate the consistently great service.

Venus Pharmacy and Beauty Shop is honestly the upper west side BEST KEPT SECRET!!! I work just down the block and today was my first time there. The STAFF WAS AMAZING and so friendly. In NEW YORK?!! WHAT?! And the merchandise is great. From anything to thick wool like hair to soft and curly. This place is awesome. Proud hair product connossieur

Agree with the reviewer who said they have issues keeping their store hours! Tonight when I arrived, there was a man standing in front of the door staring at his phone with his hand covering the door opening. I got his attention and he told me he couldn’t let me in because the pharmacist had left. I told him I wasn’t there for the pharmacy, I needed a beauty product. He repeated that he couldn’t let me in. I said, but it’s not 7:00 yet and showed him the time—it was 6:50, 10 minutes before their stated closing time. The man said “I know” and then shut the door in my face. I’ve been met by closed doors at least 4 times before when I’ve arrived 10-15 minutes prior to their written closing time. I like to support local businesses and thought maybe this was a fluke, so I’ve kept coming back. Unfortunately I don’t have flexibility in my schedule to arrive earlier in the day—if you do, you might have a great experience! But I’ve always received average to poor customer service here, so after tonight, I’ll find a new place to buy my hair dye supplies.

came in to buy mascara for my niece, but came out with my prescription filled as well in an extremely timely manner. the pharmacist, dr. jang, was extremely helpful with my meds AND the mascara. will come back in the future!
