Raheem is the absolute best tech associate. This was hands down the easiest and best experience I've ever had switching cell providers and phones! He was so patient and explained everything without all of the stress that I usually endure. I will be coming back to this store just for his help! He should definitely be recognized for all his expertise and superb customer service!
Justin gave top tier customer service. I came in in shambles trying to find a resolution as I just arrived from a long trip. He was patient and offered solutions quickly. With that being said I give him a 10/10 !! Never been in this location before but after the service delivered I’m sure I’ll be returning and informing others. Definitely a golden ticket. Thank you!
Terrible experience. The first guy that greeted me was named Vic. Before I even got a chance to say what I needed help with, he was sure to mention they were short staffed and he could only support in store pick ups. He was curt, rude, and unhelpful. I told him I needed a basic upgrade on my phone for a business plan. Like a broken record, he repeated that he can’t help me and that they’re doing pick up only. He proceeded to tell about 5-10 customers the same thing and mostly stood idle doing nothing for about an hour as I tried to call customer service in store. I tried speaking with the manager who was much better but ultimately said he had to be the bearer of bad news and also couldn’t help. Vic was such a joke of an employee that he recommended I go to the Verizon store in jersey — except he was completely serious. I mean, he was that comically bad. After 4-5 transfers on the customer support line and zero help from the staff in store, I am deciding to switch to AT&T. Terrible store.
Raheem at this store is my man! Super helpful and one of a kind. Was very patient and walked us through everything. Step by step. Also making sure we get every hook up possible!
This was the second Verizon store we went to today with horrible customer service. We waited over an hour to get someone to answer a few questions for us and we finally left because Verizon employees were just standing around playing with their iPads! horrible, horrible customer service.
Pretty bad store experience just to process a return for a case. I totally understand the process of checking in and how it affects the customer experience but it would have taken LESS time to process the return than to check me into the line queue. When I asked the greeter if I could leave the case since they had all my info from check in I had to run to work he said the manager up front can do the return. I went to the manager and all he was worried about was who sent me to him. So he then sets me up with someone else who condescendingly explained the line queue process to me. While everyone ran around worried about who sent who were. My return could have been processed five times over.
This place is the worst. Go to any other Verizon store if you can. You have to have an appointment if you don't want to wait an hour or longer, but you have to go into the store to get the appointment. You can't call them because they don't have a phone number I know they're the phone company; what the hell. While you're waiting for more than an hour, if you decide to use the restroom, they will direct you to the restaurant next door because they have no restroom. Let's just say, "customer service" is not in their vocabulary.
Was actually looking to switch over, but I came in for a charge to gauge customer service. I was so disappointed. How are there no stations for charging, just sales? I looked online for a plan and phone and wanted to sit down and chat while my phone charged. I had been out all day unexpectedly and my phone was very low. A charge is basic service that I can get from a bar. It’s a simple service anyone that can, would offer. I’m going to AT&T, because I never had an issue there. The next place I went to didn’t even ask questions, they already had station set up.
I had an appointment on Saturday to trade in my phone. My family members went through the same process and were done in 30 minutes. At the Walnut Verizon store they were able to deactivate my old phone and number, but could not activate the new phone. I was told I would be contacted the following Monday. Then I was told I would be contacted on Wednesday, which I was not. They wanted to let me go without a working cell phone and number. I had to ask to have a temporary number. I was told in store that all calls from my old number would be transferred to my new one. On the phone with Verizon corporate Monday, I was told this was untrue and my calls were never set up to be forwarded at all. This was supposed to be a quick trade in, and instead I have no access to my old number and have missed multiple work related calls and messages. Avoid at all costs.
The people here are clueless, incompetent and lazy. It's the culture of the entire company, true they have the best coverage, but pray to whatever god you worship you never have to walk into this store, or worse, call customer service. I have socks with higher IQ's than the employees here.
