Terrible customer service. I walked in as soon as they opened. All I wanted was to buy a phone, I didnt need them to set it up, walk in and out, 5 minutes, take $1200. The guy tells me it is by appointment only, I look around and there is no one. He still won't sell me the phone. Then he tells me to go to Best Buy which is near by or to use the Verizon app and have it shipped. I tried the app 4 times, couldn't get a phone in the cart. I ask him one more time still no one else in the store and he says "just go to Best Buy, I am trying to have a nice Saturday". I would not be writing this if the store was actually busy. But it wasn't, the guy was standing around doing nothing. Best Buy was happy to take my money. Drove by after going to Best Buy because they are pretty much next door, there were 2 people in the store. They were clearly very busy and I was being unreasonable. Never going there again. And now I understand why it was empty.
FRIENDLY STAFF! I recently bought a phone from this store, but 19 days later, I had to return it for an exchange because the new phone was overheating. Thomas greeted me with a broad smile and listened to my concerns without interrupting. He was accommodating throughout the entire transaction. I like the fact that he was kind enough to share additional information. The overall experience was excellent. If you're looking for great service, stop by this store. The staff will take care of you. Do not let someone else's bad experience determine your choice. :
We have been Verizon wireless customers since the mid 1990s. We've had many good experiences at the Dedham store over the past 10 plus years. As a walk-in early this summer the manager Dan provided helpful Information and offered assistance and options. I regretted I delayed making a purchase that day as my need to upgrade became urgent soon after. Arriving for an appointment in Dedham about three weeks ago to purchase a new phone, staff discovered a 'reservation to purchase' I made the prior evening by phone with customer service who emphasized she had to start the process was not processed correctly. It was tagged as a purchase to be shipped to my home. Dedham salesperson Teddy was able to cancel the phone transaction, located and activated an in-stock phone the model initially ordered, transferred all data from my old phone, assembled all protective equipment and recommended charging accessories that have been invaluable. He spent quite a bit of time helping me and his level of service was very much appreciated. This is only the most recent example of why we go to this location.
The manager here is the worst. Told me he had a phone in the back and would go get it, had me waiting for 45 mins and never returned...I stood in the store, processed my purchase to hand it shipped to my house from my phone and walked out. I don't know what is going on but Verizon phone service costs too much money for the service to be this bad!!!!
The manager, Dan, was awesome! My fiancé and I rolled in right before closing due to Verizon’s website having issues earlier that prohibited our buying online, and he swiftly got our phone set up, and with kindness. Thank you, Dan, for making up for what was wrong with Verizon’s system online. I vote for a bonus for you!
I went to the dedham location with a phone that blew up. I was incredibly lucky to be helped by Wesley.This guy was incredibly knowledgeable and more importantly patient. He walked me through every step while being friendly and helping others at the same time. This man should own a store.
Had two great recent experiences at this store. Wes, the manager, was very attentive and honest and didn't try to oversell us. Returned a couple of days later after ordering an iPhone online and running into some problems during activation and another gentleman had us in and out in less than 5 minutes after solving our issue. Great service overall!
The crew techs here are the greatest !!!! Make sure you have what you need &. Understand your device.
My son and I were assisted by Wes, the manager. He was thorough, attentive and knowledgeable. I was so appreciative of the time he spent with us, never rushing, answering all our questions and even applying the screen saver for us-and he found us a 30% discount we could use on our phone charger purchase! I will always use Verizon and this store in particular!
Beware! Dishonest sales associates that would lie to get a sale! Your bill will not reflect what they tell you. Fake and dishonest sales Associates who acts like they are giving you a deal but in reality you are being duped. Better off going to another Verizon location. I do not recommend this place! If I could have given a zero rating, I would have.
