Vermont Dance Academy

My daughter absolutely loves Vermont Dance Academy! Miss Jackie is a wonderful person and an amazing teacher. She makes great connections with all her students. Her choreography is creative and inventive; it's no wonder that her dances win many style awards. Over the past year, not only has my daughter learned new dance skills and improved her technique, but her confidence and self-esteem as a dancer and performer have grown as well. She would take every single class that Miss Jackie teaches!

My daughter has danced with Jackie for the past 3 years. She has taught her technique, various styles of dance and how to become a better dancer. As her parent, I will say the most important things that Jackie teaches is confidence, to have self respect, and what it truly means to be a part of an amazing team. Jackie is the kind of teacher that doesn't need to look for students, they look for her!

Jackie is an extremely sweet person, talented dancer and dedicated teacher. Jackie’s school, Vermont Dance Academy (VDA) offers a great selection of classes of which my daughter is enrolled in most of them. Her choreography is innovative with excellent use of music, patterns and space. She integrates the emotional and artistic aspects of the dance in such a way as to make it easy for the dancers to incorporate into their movements. Her rehearsals are well planned and make excellent use of time. The staff at VDA are tenured dancers and teachers that all share the same passion for dance. Jackie’s dedication, professionalism, passion, enthusiasm and good nature make her an excellent choreographer and dance teacher.
