Nick was amazing! I was a first time home buyer so very nervous and overwhelmed.  He answered my questions right away (even on a Sunday!). His answers were detailed, clear, and incredibly helpful. When I made my offer on my house, he immediately sent my real estate agent all the info needed, sent me a printout explaining all the costs involved, and went over each line item with me. The people he works with are incredibly helpful as well and helped make this process as stress free as possible. I always felt well informed and comfortable from my first meeting with Nick all the way to my closing. If you need someone who truly understands mortgages and will explain everything to you, I highly recommend him!

I recently purchased a FSBO home and called Nick Parent at Vermont Mortgage Company to work on the loan for me. From the beginning, Nick brought a sense of calm to the experience – he listened to all of my needs and questions, and addressed them throughout the entire buying process. One underlying but huge value Nick brought to me as his client is the close relationship and great communication he has with his partner banks, attorneys, town clerks, and other parties. This pays off for his clients in huge ways, as this is what makes the complex process feel easy when working with Nick and his team. If my house purchase was a football game, Nick and the Vermont Mortgage Company team would have been the star quarterback. My closing day was so easy – and I cannot thank Nick enough for his excellent customer service. Simply the best!

Nick and his company were amazing through this entire transaction.  From the first day of speaking with him and pre-qualifying, he was very knowledgeable and laid everything out perfectly!!  Being an out of state buyer, there were things we didn't realize.  He had all the answer and this mortgage went through smoothly.  His staff is also on the ball and were there to answer any questions we had.  I would highly recommend Vermont Mortgage, Nick Parent and he staff!!  They are amazing!!  Thank you.  We love our new home in Vermont!!!

Nick and the team at Vermont mortgage company were absolutely amazing to work with! Nick got us through FHA in less then 30 days which was absolutely incredible. If you need a mortgage in the state of Vermont, there is nowhere else to go... simply the best. Thank you nick! - the nelsons

Being first time home buyers, Nick's kind and approachable demeanor made this potentially daunting experience a breeze. Him and his colleagues are incredibly knowledgeable and were always available for questions. Working with Vermont Mortgage Company allowed for us to focus on the exciting aspects of becoming home owners. Highly Recommended!
