Vermont Sports Medicine Center - Rutland

PTs are great, especially Erin, and Dan. super knowledgeable and engaged. It really helped me seeing the PTs after my injury. The problem that I had was the front desk, I am a trans woman who's birth certificate, license all specifically say F. The front desk directed me to the Men's bathroom/locker room more than a couple of times, then when I asked where they were trying to send me they took me to a single occupancy restroom as if to say that I am "Other" and that they believe me not to be a "Real Woman". This is indication that they believe that I am a man which is disrespectful and caused me very much pain. Beyond that, the sanitizer that they use to clean the tables gave me allergies, and same with the perfume or hand sanitizer(I couldn't tell which) that the PT's use. Every time I left the facility I would go directly home to shower/change my clothes so that I wouldn't break out and be wheezing for the rest of the day.

Great staff from P.T to front desk. Desk girl helped me when my bill went from 30$ one week to 150$ the next by the time i came back two weeks later she had it sorted out, the therapist's all seem very knowledgeable and work well with clients
