Vernon heating and air gave us same day service on our broken A/C unit. Very knowledgeable tech came to fix our heat pump. Service fee was reasonable. Would recommend these guys!

Buyer Beware, this company is a ripoff. A true premium company should offer premium service at reasonable prices. Vernon offers below average service at insane prices, while saying that they are a premium company. The tech that showed up to repair our ac unit quoted $1,214 to refill refrigerant. He never even put a gauge on the unit to measure how much we needed. He said the $1,214 would cover it regardless if he actually filled 1 lb or 6 lbs. We paid Vernon the $105 diagnosis fee, but then called another company who filled the refrigerant for $250, not $1,214 like Vernon wanted. Also, the tech seemed very arrogant and said maybe we are not up to their level of using a "premium" company, like they're too high class for us lower class poor people.

Called Vernon when I had issues with my HVAC. They were flexible with scheduling an appointment time. The technician (John B.) was friendly, clearly knowledgeable and helpful. Overall great experience.

John B. has been very helpful to us on many occasions making the best financial decisions on older units. Takes to time to go through all the options, plus we recently replaced an hvac unit and know we got good deal compared to other neighbors. install even took place next day!!!!
Craig is the best technician out there! Kept our 13 year old units alive. so knowledgable and if it can be fixed he figures it out. Mike installed our new unit, Promptly showed up at 8:30 a.m. as promised and stayed until the entire job was finished. Drop clothes were put down to keep our home clean which worked well on a rainy day. the crew was out in the rain for hours on end and kept at it. we are grateful for the good customer service and quality workmanship consistent with Vernon. always on time, pleasant to deal with and quick! Best thats out there!

I recently moved up to the Northern Virginia area and was recommended to this heating and air conditioning company by a colleague of mine. I see why my colleague guided me to them as I feel I got more than full value. In addition to their professionalism, the two gentlemen I worked with filled me in with all sorts of information on how to maximize cooling and heat throughout my home as well as maintain/extend the life of both my heating and air conditioner unit. Also, whereas I thought a utility sink pipe in front of the heater would be problematic, the Vernon guys went above and beyond, working with the city to make sure it was to code and relocating the pipe working with not so much space. The best part was they were able to do this all in two days... fast and efficient. I highly recommend this company to everyone.
