Working with Vertical Media Solutions was easy, quick, professional, and reasonably priced. I am so incredibly happy with the resume and cover letter they supplied me, and their added service of updating a LinkedIn profile to match is just icing on the cake. If you are busy like I am, their process is perfect - you just need to take the time for two phone calls. Mind you, they're longer phone calls, but there's no travel time involved and you still get personal service. I appreciate the time they took to understand my background, interests, and future goals. This level of service ensured that the resume they built for me fully encompassed my skills and professional background. The turnaround time from the first phone call to a polished, professional resume was incredibly fast. I contacted VMS after nearly a decade with one organization. I was ready to create a new resume and get guidance on what recruiters do and do not want to see in a cover letter. After an initial call with Joel, I knew I wanted to work with them and fortunately they were willing to work with my tight deadline. As many of us will discover, writing about ourselves can be quite challenging and it’s easy to get stuck. The highly qualified and credentialed staff at VMS get to to know you and your goals and then focus in on the areas recruiters and hiring committees will be interested in. No less than three people take part in the process, making sure no opportunities to highlight your achievements are missed. It feels really good to speak with experts, answer the questions and let them take care of the hard part. When I received my resume and cover letter I was impressed to say the least (also embarrassed by my initial attempt at doing it on my own). Trust me, I’m not usually one to write reviews, but this service is worth it! I’m now confident in my resume and feel good sending it out. It highlights the contributions I’ve made to my employer in a clear and accurate way. Next up, interview coaching with VMS!

I am a recent college graduate, and relatively early on in my professional work experience. I reached out to VMS in order to gain some insight into how to set myself apart in the job application process. I couldn't be more pleased with the experience that I had working with both Joel and Wilson. Joel took the time to thoroughly walk me through the process I would follow in working through a resume and cover letter. Then Wilson took me through the survey of my past experience and got to know everything that I have done in my work background. One of my favorite parts of the process is that VMS asks for some job areas that you are interested in so that they can tailor your documents to those job categories specifically! I would recommend VMS to anyone looking to improve their resume/cover letter and feel ready to find my next job with the documents I received.

The staff at VMS helped improve the focus of my resume. They worked with me to uncover experience in current and past roles that I hadn't thought about utilizing. They were always responsive to my questions and were very generous with their time.
