Tom at Vesta Home Inspections was recommended to us by someone we trust. We are extremely please with the service Tom provided to us. Buying a home is one of the biggest investments one can make and Tom helped us feel confident on our decision. He takes the time to explain everything and goes above what you'd expect. He's worth every penny, especially for those of us not "handy".

Tom was extremely thorough with his home inspection and provided easy to understand information. I cannot stress how grateful I am that he took the time to show me the issues he found as well as provided recommendations on fixes. Tom did a great job inspecting our potential new home. He is very knowledgeable, and was extremely patient with us. Before he began, he explained to us how much time he would spend in each area of the home, and he allowed us to follow him around so that we could see what he was talking about. We interrupted him several times while he was doing the inspection, and he did not mind answering our questions. He used terms that we could understand. He did a very thorough inspection, and he actually spent more time than the 3 hours he mentioned at the beginning of the process. I highly recommend Tom to do your home inspection. You will not be disappointed. We are still in the negotiation process for this home. If we do not get it, and we need inspection for another home, we will definitely be calling Tom.

I have used Tom twice for home inspections. Both times I was more than satisfied with the report I received. Thorough and matter-of-fact! Tom provides a detailed and straightforward report possibly a little too straightforward, for some!. Tom understands that his job is to protect his client's interests, and he's not afraid to speak/write frankly about the quality issues he discovers. I found him to be very knowledgeable, and he was honest regarding the rare topic or two that he was uncertain about. More importantly, he took the time to further investigate and discuss these issues in more depth before the reporting process was completed. Tom came out to a house that we are purchasing and spent a solid two and a half hours walking through it with us. From climbing on to the many different roofs, to crawling into the three different crawl spaces, Tom did not leave any part of the house untouched. We followed him around room to room and he would tell us exactly what he's looking for and what needed to be fixed immediately, versus in the next five years.
