The only vintage and classic bike shop in Louisville, Kentucky.
Specializing in vintage road bike restoration. My restoration process begins with careful selection of quality lugged steel road bikes from the '70s and '80s.
Each bike is completely disassembled and carefully inspected. The frame is then cleaned and polished. All bearing systems (head set, bottom bracket, and hubs) are inspected, cleaned, greased, reassembled and properly adjusted. Wheels are trued and spokes properly tensioned before installing new tires, tubes and rim strips. The bicycle is then reassembled, replacing any other worn parts as needed. Restoration is completed with the application of cotton bar wrap finished off with hemp twine and shellac.
